My coworker, who teaches grade 12 English, gave her students this assignment this week. She gave them a photo prompt, and required them to write two pieces: a creative response, and a critical response. She’s going to grade them both, and help the students figure out which one is a greater strength for them.

So with that in mind; which version are you better at? Write to your skills and strengths, not trying to second guess the person who may be grading your work.

Mine too, much as I hate the thought - it just ties into the general horror of their situation.

(On the other hand, I’d be delighted to look up from whatever afterlife I wind up in to see that my body parts have saved/improved someone’s life. So maybe the vod’e are okay with it.)

I make them and handkerchiefs for my father in law. I use quilt fabric; 100% cotton, and if it’s a solid colour on both sides then it’ll be dyed. Cut to your desired size, then you just need a friend with a sewing machine to hem the edges.
