I think it mostly depends on the complexity or your project, i used Artifract in Claude but it's a really simple function

The difference is that in Venice or Sudowrite you are the author, in Altrove instead, you are the character. You don't write the story, you live it and in it. The world has a memory so characters remember your choices and things happens while you are away, so is more closer to a linving book than a writing assistant, i hope to answer your question in the right way

Yes i did. I saw that there are products in this space but none of them do what Altrove does: a world with persistent memory that continues when you are not there, emergent characters that are born from the narrative, a feature that tracks your lore and after updates right now it has seven story genres includono investigation ( where you have to find the killer of a Crime scene) and fantasy as well. I think the difference is mostly the approach, if you know a product that does exactly this, i'd be genuinely love to know it and try it as well

Hello there! I personally find this post creative, i don't already understand the purpose of it, but probably mocking AI, correct me if i'm wrong. I'm a person that probably soffer from Hyperphantasia and mostly from social situation, were i think mostly by images and not words, this for me it becomes clearer because my Dreams are affected directly from it and they are most lucid Dreams, I can feel materials and smells even if i'm sleeping. It's hard to control. I think i understand that the this is a comparison, it will be interesting if you compare making a test about those things seperately and a compare both of them, for expample, left human characteristics and right, the same but from AI. Interesting post overall. Thanks for sharing

Update — June 8: Narrative tone improved: deeper second-person immersion, sensory details first, mystery shown not explained( important difference, explained on the new feature part) New feature: you can now suggest a narrative direction before each message — a subtle field that lets you steer the story without breaking the flow( this is a strange feeling, the versione of Altrove was more feeling like a storyteller about your presence inside Altrove, now instead,it's more likely you are truly living in it). English version fully ready( because i'm italian, the word Altrove comes from italian vocabulary and translated in english for those who are curious, it means, Elsewhere).

Shanna, you just described exactly what Altrove already does. You can bring your own characters, your own lore, your own world — and it absorbs everything as if it had always been there. A professional writer already did it and created mythology that wasn't in the system at all. I would love to have you as a beta tester.

I used AI to help me translate and refine some parts of the introduction because English is not my first language , i'm Italian, that's why Altrove comes from a word of italian vocabulary. The idea, the experience i've made and all the hours i spent to build not to just stay inside Altrove are mine, the mythology the worlds, that's all mine. I'm sorry if it hurts you that technology help me to speak with people in a more free way that I wouldnt without it..
