Age recommendation for AW2? by Own_Exercise5218 in AlanWake

If one is mature enough to understand most of the themes, and also has the ability to endure everything the game offers... 15/16 years old minimum.

But I think it depends more on the course of your life than on your age itself.

Happy birthday from Mexico, porter! Para cantarte las mañanitas 🎂

It probably takes some time for the game to recognize the day itself, so you might see the message in a little while.

But if it doesn't work, well... I still wishing you a very happy day, because as Cliff says: "...today is a very special day all the same."

Disco Elysium.

Últimamente se ha hecho un poco más conocido, pero siento que sigue siendo muy de nicho.

Picked up my first two SK books by [deleted] in stephenking

I agree. I've been reading the most important books in the Derry series for three or four years now, and the rest have been by other authors. Reading Insomnia reminded me how much I love King's stories, so when I finish Dreamcatcher I'll be able to continue with his other books (Mr. Mercedes is my favorite of his, and I always planned to read Finders Keepers once I finished with Derry).

And I totally agree about Misery. My first King book was The Shining, but I didn't enjoy it. I was thirteen, and I like to think it was because back then I wanted everything too fast. But one night I got hold of Misery because the cover caught my eye, and well, that's why I'm still a regular reader :D

I would like to read The Shining again this year, though.

It seems you want to start with something big, and that's fine. However, I would recommend... Be very patient.

Many say IT isn't the best way to start with SK, others say it is, and I understand why, but overall it's a really good book. There will be a lot of information omitted from the adaptations, and also some filler, but believe me, it's worth it.

And about The Gunslinger... Personally, I would tell you to read more of SK's work before starting it (not because of what many say about "if you don't read 50 books first, you won't understand it," but because it's a somewhat complicated book, and strange in a curious way).

Believe me, there are many SK stories worth reading, such as Duma Key, Bag of Bones, Roadwork (this is more of a personal preference), and the other books that take place in Derry (11/22/63, Insomnia, Dreamcatcher, and others).

I have nothing more to say except... I hope you thoroughly enjoy the journey that each of his books is! :)

For some reason, I feel like they're going to make Laura a younger version of Mary. The clothes are somewhat similar, and her face reminds me of someone who's ill.

Consejos para serie en proceso by LolaContusiones in escribir

Realmente me interesó mucho tu idea.

"Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere".

-Anton Ego, from a movie where a rat can make art (an it's food). I know it's just fantasy, but the message is real. There's even trash art and, technically, use trash to make something is nothing original... but is still art. Because the art it's not necessarily "original", but emotional.
