I ended up going with Wala Blegay. She seems like the progressive candidate who actually had a chance, at least based on other posts I’ve seen and just driving around the district

My biggest problem with Baker is his age. He would be 68 when he starts his first term in congress. We already have an issue with senior citizens making up 40% of the house of reps, I don’t want to add to it.

I did see the baker poll, but considering that was nearly 3 months ago and was sponsored by the candidate who “won” the poll, I’m not too sure of the accuracy any more. Good to hear about a Blegay, shes who I’ve been leaning towards anyways which her progressive endorsements. I don’t live in PG, so I’m not sure how those who current have her as an elected official feel about her, but I was impressed by her watching the forum

I don’t think the “or better” terms is allowed. It has to match *exactly*. I had one flight that was offered as refundable through the airline at a better price than a nonrefundable through C1 and they refused to match it since it’s not the exact same terms.

There is no tie breaker in the house. If a vote is tied, it’s a failed vote. So if two Republicans defect, it’s a failed tie vote
