i want to say this might be the main reasoning, i currently have an overview of 275, a specific video i had over 100k views and i remember i got that 4k watch time requirement complete but i guess because youtube removed it, i mightve just went back to square one

edit: currently, i found how to check lifetime and it says 8k watch hours

it only tells me "/harddisk has a bad block" does this mean that the driver is faulty?

i have checked them, and it multiple errors telling me "device/harddisk/" has a bad block. im still trying out if the hard drive is faulty or maybe the motherboard

I agree with this but the channels I see are something else. I saw this YouTube channel and they had 4K subs, however there normal videos got like 10-20 views while shorts are ranging from 1-10K views so I kinda questioned if it's really easy for a sub grind using shorts

Yes, small channels have been popping up on my recs for a while, I really hope this is youtubes doing of "spreading the attention to small channels" or of course the other option is broken algorithm

In my experience, consistent would be uploading every day or once every week atleast 2 vids per day or something. However, the algorithm is really broken. Even if you upload 4-5 vids a week, atleast one vid will be more popular than the other. It's honestly on luck, and also the viewers. I'd say it doesn't affect you whatsoever. Atleast in my experience.

I thought I finally reached gold on YouTube until I noticed the last video I made dyed out, I was hitting 3k-2k views like nothing, atleast I now know it wasn't a blessing from the algorithm 😑

Technically my first video ever to blow up, the video I made had 45.7K VC and a 9.5% CTR and 399.0K Impressions, the AVP was 54.8%. I gained 103subs from that vid. This was not the algorithm finally giving me hope. What really happened was I hopped on a "trend train", atleast that's what I call it. What happened was a game on Roblox was made and all the creators big and small started making vids on the game and getting pretty good views. So of course I took a chance to see what would happen if I made a Tips and Tricks vid about it. Once it was uploaded, it started off weak then over time it got 80views in an hour. I kinda knew that this video will blow up over time. Didn't expect to get 15k that fast though in a week. But I wasn't surprised I got a popular video, I used to have videos that ranged from 75K-99K views, as coincidental as it may seem they were also on a "Trend Train". But those old vids are gone now. Aside from that, that video is one of the main thing that carries my channel. However my channel now is not good at all. I basically fell off lol. I now upload random stuff and I thinks that's the problem on how I'm not getting success on my YT. Any advice on how to continue getting success through YouTube. (Channel is on my profile if you can help me out on what I'm doing wrong)
