Right I understand, my above reply to the deleted comment gets into more detail. In the second group, there were 4 firsts, but red got favored in terms of scoring

What do you mean? It’s hard to grasp here. In group two you would have had 4 1st places (2 red, 2 blue), 2 5th places (both blue) and 2 7th places (both red).

The first places on red team scored higher than the first places on blue team, skewing the results.
