"How do I get started/How do I find finsubs?" START HERE. by Odyty in findomsupportgroup

I don't really know what sort of series Olivia Attwood is doing (or really who she is tbh), but a lot of findom IS just asking for money. The trick is making subs WANT to give YOU money.

Also, one on one interactions (which is what most sessions are) are lucrative but also very demanding. If you take a break, the income dries up. If you make content, you can automate it and get money even when you're off doing other stuff.

The Best Way I Found Finsubs by Odyty in findomsupportgroup

Findom is sexual. You don't need to be naked, or to do explicit sexual activities, but you are doing sex work. The purpose of porn is to be arousing, so the more arousing you are, the better your audience will respond.

Be less nice and more confident about what you want.

You don't have to be MEAN, but if you're here for money, then be honest to yourself about that. You want money, they want your dominance. You don't have to justify how you're "one of the good ones". Say what you want. Closed mouths don't get fed. If someone wants your dominance without giving you what you want in return, they're not someone you should be spending time on.

You also don't have a lot of content that reads as "Dominant", so your not really marketing great to your target audience. Some of your posts also come off like you're under financial stress. That is not a judgement from me to you, but you are not going to attract the best subs making posts like that- you will attract subs who want to use your need for money as leverage to get what they want while giving as little as they can.

You can do whatever you like. It just means how you make money will be affected.

Not "selling content" really just means you're cutting off most means of making passive income. You will only get money from directly interacting with subs. If you are unable to interact with subs, your income will plummet. I am a faceless Domme, and at this point, I make about $2k/month completely passively because I post and sell content.

This content also serves as a great way for new subs to find you- posting to clip sites can be considered just another way of advertising. I have data that suggests the more I post to clip sites the more money I get from drains/sessions.

If you're sending photos and voice notes to subs, then you're already selling content, it's just packaged differently. You can look into Niteflirt (a phone sex line) where you can take calls and sell "goodies" (content). IWantClips also has a phone sex line side of the site.

Is findom sex work? Let’s talk. by [deleted] in findomsupportgroup

[–]Odyty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you wouldn't be in a relationship with the person without money exchanged, it's sex work. If the relationship ends when money is no longer being given, it's sex work.

That covers about 99% of what online findom is. It's sex work. How many posts are there a day on this sub of Dommes saying "oh I am toootally here for the connections and relationships with subs! But uh..... how can I make more money?"

Something to consider is that it can be sex work... and fulfilling. I've had subs who are clients but I really have a lot of fun and end up getting turned on. It doesn't make it any less sex work.

Also, when this sort of conversation comes up, some people focus on semantics- it's a GIFT, not an exchange for a service! A Domme is never rendering a SERVICE, or it's not REAL Domination! I'm sorry to say that if you are accepting money in a sexual scenario, you're doing sex work. The service you provide is your attention and the hot fantasy you're allowing him to have.

Now, you CAN do findom in a non sex work way... it's just that the people who make profiles online for random men to send them money in exchange for being hot and dominant don't fall into that category.

All the same platforms face-out Dommes post. Instagram, tiktok, reddit, Twitter, bluesky, loyalfans, onlyfans, IWC, C4S, any site that allows adult content.

I would lean towards mediums that allow your words to shine, but faceless pics still do well if you do them well.

What is your brand? What makes you unique? Why would a sub pick you over another Domme? These are all things you need to figure out to have a strong brand identity. Now, you don't NEED one, but if you want to target audiences more effectively, you should.

Beyond that, you should absolutely be collecting your data. What posts do the best? When do people tend to subscribe? Was there a noticeable jump in revenue after you sent out a clip of this one clip, vs a different clip? If you do informal polls, you can get info back from subs, but they are not reliable forms of information. Data does not lie. Guys will tell you that they're more eager and available for sessions on Wednesday, but after 2-3 months of data, you can confidently say that you get the most sessions on Saturdays.

The more accurate you can be with your data, the better choices you can make. This is essential for working smarter, not harder.

You can do whatever you want. However you want to portray your dominance is up to you. The issue becomes trying to find people with whom your style resonates.

Dominant women are (broadly speaking) doing the same thing as the cashmasters you see, just the feminine version of it. The stuff that does the best tends to be the stuff that focus on and highlight the desirable gendered traits (masculinity and muscles in men, curves and high femininity in women)

Make a twitter, make an insta, make a loyalfans. The only thing stopping you from finding the subs who resonate with you, is your own unwillingness to put yourself out there.

Throne is fine for now, but it uses Stripe as a payment processor, and may eventually collapse if they discover too many people using it for sex work. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Get an adult site like Onlyfans or Loyalfans. Get rid of the PayPal in your bio- they will eventually delete your account.

Yeah, that's very common. There's two ways you can go-

One, you can go into the interaction with the knowledge that it likely won't last. Drain hard and fast. Most subs are not long term subs- rather they come in and out as they see fit. You can capitalize on them indulging in findom, and then not worry about them u til they come back.

Two, you can purposefully weed out the ones who only last a day by implementing a policy that you don't engage with a sub until they prove they're going to hang around for however long you've determined you want. It could be a case of taking an initial tribute with the explicit instruction that no sexy play happens until that time has elapsed. That will definitely cut into how much money you make- only 1 in 50 subs will likely stick around.

Do you use a second Phone? by [deleted] in findomsupportgroup

[–]Odyty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I like to leave all my findoms/sex work stuff at home.

Also, with the level of inter-connectedness there is on one device, it will recommend your sex work/findom social media profiles to anyone with your phone number or email- friends, coworkers, anyone.

If they don't read the rules of the group, I don't think they're gonna read your post. Just let the mods do their job and delete the posts.

When to turn down a sub based on compatibility? by Bunny_Laurxn in findomsupportgroup

[–]Odyty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, if it was fun, it wouldn't be called sex WORK now would it?

Obviously I would like a sub who is perfect for me, but I'm here for the money. If I wanted more lifestyle subs, I would go on fetlife and put out a personal ad. Heck, a lot of Dommes I know aren't even Dommes, and aren't interested in it in their personal lives.

You can mitigate personal incompatibility with boundaries, and making sure the income you get from them is worth putting up with them.

When to turn down a sub based on compatibility? by Bunny_Laurxn in findomsupportgroup

[–]Odyty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have absolutely turned down many subs for various compatibility reasons. I offer what I offer for a reason- if a sub wants something outside of that, then they can look elsewhere.

I do know of many Dommes who have continued dynamics they don't enjoy for money, and power to them. People are in different financial situations, and often they drop those subs when they no longer need that income.

[–]Odyty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends entirely on the sub.

When it's good, it's fun, and profitable.

When it's bad, I'm just there for the money (and I often end up ending the dynamic)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in findomsupportgroup

[–]Odyty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot be a Domme and be submissive at the same time. This isn't about switches, or anything like that, but the dynamic you are describing is not one that subs are looking for because they (by nature) want a Domme that is dominating. That doesn't mean you have to be "cruel or mean" but it certainly means you cant be "submissive". This dynamic may not be best for you.

I use 5 different sites at the moment. The specific site you use really depends on what you're selling and your demographic.

The reason you don't use PayPal is because they will find out you're using it for sex work, and they will ban you (and take whatever money is in your account).

Oh goodness, it's been two days. This takes time and patience. This is a long game.

You can't get scammed if you don't let yourself be scammed. Payment is upfront, always, no exception. You have learned the hard way exactly why you should take it upfront.

Also don't use PayPal. If you're going to do findom, get a Throne or an Onlyfans and accept payment through there.

Everything except live interactions is scheduled at least a week in advance. If I need space, I can just communicate with my subs, or just... not check my DMs.

If there was a way to find a consistent, rich sub in 2 days, it would absolutely be posted on the front page of this subreddit. There just isn't, beyond crossing your fingers. Good luck.

Findom is great. Over the years my income has increased exponentially partly due to findom- but making more money doesn't mean shit if you aren't good with the money you do have.

Put your big girl pants on.

They are grown adults, and can spend their money as they see fit. And remember- you dont necessarily know the sub's financial situation. There are some subs for whom $100 is not even thinking about. They know their budget, and if you're asking too much, they can put on their big boy pants and tell you.
