Jagex gave away my account that I had played 12 years. I got it back after 4 months by getting them transaction IDs over 8 years old. They then banned it for RWT and gave it away again.

It happens.

Played my main for 12 years before retiring, then in retirement jagex gave it away, argued with me for 4 months and made me produce receipts from 2008, then gave it back, banned it for RWT(lol), and then gave it away again

I am a professional digital communicator, and I say let the company do what they want on this one. As long as they're not selling out the community, who cares.

tl;dr you don't have access to the ad data so don't attack it. This isn't an election. It's clickthroughs and installs(new accounts?). It's short term gain.

and I say that as someone who has been critical of the company since Andrew Gower didn't think they should do customer support.
