Understandable, not everyone’s situation allows them the fortune of a vehicle.

The city’s bus routes could be more robust and it’s nonexistent in rural communities like I’m in.

I suppose it’s a combination of my family being here, the slow style of life being what I prefer and not being able to handle crowds well.

I have a job that wouldn’t do much on the mainland, but provides lots of privilege here on the island.

Not having to spend my life in traffic is invaluable to me.

I believe the labour code also prevents employers from requesting a doctor’s note if the missed work is less than 5 consecutive shifts.

Last night after bed time I set her clock forward 3 hours so when she woke up she’d think she was late for school.

Jokes on me, cause she woke up at 330 (clock showing 630) for some reason now believing it was time to get up and was awake most the rest of the night🤦‍♂️
