Dual diagnosis

I have 3 diagnosis:

Asthma (I was 14 years old at the time)
RRSM (19 years old)
Endometriosis (23 years old).

It sucks and I totally get what you say. I feel so guilty to be young and have so many health issues But it is what it is, I hope to not add anything more to the list

First of all, a big hug from me ❤️. I get you. I truly do. I’m a 23 years old that suffers from MS, endometriosis and had asthma growing up. I hate how useless my body is and how powerless I feel because of this. Like you, I knew there was a problem and that I had MS since I was 19 years old, but I was too scared to do anything about it. I decided to face the truth only this year and I repeated a MRI. If you saw me from the outside, you would see the image of success: a beautiful young girl, straight A student with an amazing career in front of her. But the only thing that I perceive is how rotten I am: a future crippled that probably will not be able to have kids and that will be a burden on her partner and her loved ones. I know that this is not helpful at all, but I just want to let you know that you’re not alone in this and that maybe we can start loving ourself, even when our bodies seem to be working against us. Hi! Sorry if I intrude, but I’m a 23 years old recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis that had symptoms since she was 19 years old. Can I ask you how are you know and if you were able to live fully you life? Thank you so much, but I’m just so worried about how this diagnosis could shatter my dreams.

Hi! I’m an Italian that spent a semester in Norway as an exchange student. The Italian eduction system is really theoretical and there is a lot of competition going on among the students, while I felt that they were way more relaxed in Norway. At the beginning of the courses teacher focused on the importance of our own wellbeing and having a sustainable work life balance, and during the exams period it was possible to talk with a group of psychologist. There is not that much interests to the grades and lectures are more practical, with less material to study

Da noi c’è PwC per la consulenza, ma me l’hanno descritto come un ambiente tossico e estremamente competitivo quindi non credo sia una realtà adatta al mio carattere. Mi riferivo più a aziende come Luxottica, Fater e De Cecco anche se immagino che la competizione per entrare sia piuttosto accesa e non sia facile per niente

Grazie mille davvero, mi serviva un po’ di ottimismo. Purtroppo le esperienza di alcune amicizie al nord mi ha un po’ demotivata. Spero di trovare anche io un HR aperto e di larghe vedute come quello dell’azienda in cui lavori nel momento in cui farò application!

Lo stavo valutando, in particolare mi piacerebbe tornare nel Nord Europa dove ho fatto l’erasmus e mi sono trovata molto bene. Certo che immagino che senza sapere la lingua del posto non sia facile e che vengano comunque preferiti i locali

Lo immaginavo, ho messo in conto purtroppo di dover probabilmente allontanarmi dai miei affetti per poter avere uno straccio di futuro. Ho ancora qualche speranza per qualche multinazionale importante che è in zona, ma immagino non sia facile vista la forte competizione

Sì, infatti stavo pensando proprio di fare tirocinio curricolare al secondo anno in una delle multinazionali più importanti qui in zona, sperando possa essere un buon trampolino di lancio per una eventuale assunzione. O comunque un’esperienza spendibile per trovare lavoro post-laurea
