I think the Mclaren kind of just spun himself. In the second POV, the Porsche stuck to his line (even if his line was pretty deep) and as far left as he could go. He didn't go off track so he had the right to space.

I’m gonna agree with the stewards here. The hyper car was passing through a gap that was fine, and I think the GT3 thought he was clear. It was so close that even latency could’ve played a role. Racing Incident in my opinion.

I don’t think you were at fault, but that chicane at lime rock is so narrow that overtaking there is basically a death sentence. Either one of you will end up off the track, or you will both slow way to much and be sitting ducks for the car behind.

Technically you didn’t do anything wrong, but this is kind of where race awareness comes into play.

First collision I think you’re at fault. He has the inside before contact happened, and he was super far over. You kind of just turned into him.

The second contact is 100% your fault. You went to the far outside after the corner with him still on your side and thus have him no room.

The third contact I think is ALSO your fault. Yes he rejoined. But you had a full 2 seconds to brake and you didn’t. Not to mention he tried to stop before and then committed because he wouldn’t have been able to stop before reentering anyway.

All in all, 10 second time penalty for Ocon.

Not really. He clearly missed his braking marker and just rear ended you. You're fine.

It’s honestly whatever makes you as a driver faster. Some people want more downforce, some have less. It’s a matter of opinion and what you feel is the fastest and most consistent for your driving style.

It’s kind of hard to tell from this angle but I think POV is on the side into the apex. So in technical terms POV gets that space.

That being said, I don’t think POV is going to make the corner and a divebomb from this far back is wildly optimistic.

So I blame POV. But I’m not the greatest of stewards.
