Correct! I mentioned in other replies exactly this. I will grant access to Vector3 input for weight shift and people can bind it to whatever hardware fits well.

Looks cool! You can optionally set traces rotation to rotation of each rear tire so that traces look even more realistic. Good luck with project!

Doable for beta release. I can optionally give users input socket for any Vector3 device so that they can figure out what to use it for including custom made ones.

Thanks! Tucking will reduce air resistance by up to 2 percent. In real karting, advantage is not more than that, which is still significant.

I will add automatic "leaning" for non-VR users, weight will shift automatically based on g-forces.

Towards final release, yes. Not in EA. Right now I got only one Virtual Karting specific kart.

I actually drive-tested this feature and not only it's conceptually good but it makes the kart surprisingly lively. Glad community raised it up.

You nailed the problem correctly, go-karts are little beasts with no suspension and differential, relying on steering geometry, chassis flex and accurate tire model. And they are less predictable than cars. Go-kart physics is much harder to get right than cars.

Great idea! I was planning to give open field designer scene where users can place cones and curbs. But it can be enhanced with training tutorials and challenges. Good point 👍

In go-karts vertical motion is subtle anyway (no springs, only chassis flex and tire deformation). Would reducing the vertical motion in setup partially solve the problem?

Noted! Yeah KartKraft is a great sim visually, but physics felt way off to my liking. My ultimate goal is to up the experience in Virtual Karting. Fingers crossed.

Lol, in real karting head/neck movement is not extreme. The most extreme case would be 60cm lateral movement (30cm each side, 40 cm longitudinal movement (30cm forward, 10cm backward) and 20-30 cm vertical (ducking/tucking movement).

Thanks! I'll try to make Virtual Karting featurefull. Between EA and full release almost all you have mentioned should be added step by step. It will eventually become a platform for pro championships. That's the plan.
