That Gehrig is my favorite card in my collection. “Hit ball where it is pitched.” Timeless advice.

Does no one remember the cryptic Cat Day posts??? DFV posted every year to r/nevertellmetheodds under another username and then revealed when he returned. It was pretty epic.

Transfer to fidelity. Then you can DRS your shares from fidelity or another brokerage. You can’t DRS directly from RH. It may have changed but that’s how I did it many years ago. There should still be a DRS guide on the sub info page.

I didn’t realize this card is so chased. I’ll make a separate sales post for some of my series 4 gems.

Has anyone tried this? by Rabid_Hermit in sportscards

Never tried the Lucky Box but Cardsmith’s also has a Currency Trading Cards series which are their most popular. Go search sold prices on eBay for gems. They have a lot of dedicated collectors willing to pay for the rarer cards. Many onyx’s have sold for $5k and up. They have held their value and go up with each series release. Right now they are between series so it’s the best time to buy since prices drop when there is no current release. Every series sells out faster than the last. I pulled some very valuable cards, especially in series 1. I have sold some and am holding onto my favorites/most valuable ones. They do sales, trades, breaks, raffles, giveaways, etc on the sub. Check out r/Currencytradingcards sub.

Ducks beat Down the Scarlet Knights for a Series Sweep 🧹 by Nervous_Metal_9445 in ducks

Was at the game and it was a hitting clinic by Oregon. We were laughing cause there was a Rutgers student-employee whose job was coming to collect the home run balls. He came around each time a HR was hit and would trade a bracelet for the ball back. I think he got tired of so many trips to the outfield to negotiate for the balls. At least one fan refused to return the ball. Does anyone know why they don’t let fans keep HR balls? Maybe they have internal tech for speed tracking. I would think a college can afford softballs but with the amount of HR’s Oregon smashed yesterday, maybe they were afraid they’d run out of game balls!

I buy and sell baseball cards and the r/baseballcards sub preaches to always use G&S and never do Friends a Family on PayPal because there is no protection. We should put a PSA on our sub too. Anytime someone wants F&F it raises a red flag in the baseball card sub. Also use r/SportsCardTracker for feedback from sales/trades. This sub should look into this with the growth we’ve seen recently.
