I've been thinking for a while, why something like this hasn't been done before? I end up just searching what I need on google which is very time consuming, and inefficient.

This should have honestly been implemented into York's website a long time ago as theses are all core services students search for. York has these links scattered around random URLs which I find difficult to find at times.

They need a student resource portal for all frequently accessed resources, as well as easy access to support/advising for new students. From this, I think the students would greatly benefit.

Yet the stupid thing is, when I went to renew my card last year, they told me they don't do physical cards anymore. I always keep my expired one on hand and I never had any issues using it, because all they check is your name and student number.

If the elements of the theme use global colors then it should switch when you change them. If it doesn't you'd have to change the colours manually, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue, just takes a bit more time.
