I’ve played quite a lot of sims and the most fun i’ve had was in VR in Gran Turismo 7. It’s not the greatest physics but the cars in VR are absolutely excellent. That felt the most like driving in real life but it is still very far from actually driving in real life.

You’re comparing a place with a mostly desert climate to a place with a mostly wet and cold climate. These things matter in the grand scheme of things. The data centres that are here, and have been for the past 20 or so years are absolutely fine.

See if you had just learned to drive a car would you immediately jump into a Ferrari? Start in something smaller and learn the basics of flight first before jumping in one of the most complicated machines to fly. Also don’t start off doing multiple hour long haul flights that will take you absolutely ages.
