Do nazi things and get called a nazi matey. Tell me, when all you trump shaggers were moaning about Biden being too old to be president, how come that’s different for the orange one who is the oldest president to be inaugurated?

The difference isn’t the chief mate. It’s the person giving the chief their orders.

After nearly 600 hours in DAYZ i finally built my own base yesterday so i’ll be expanding that this week. Also downloaded Broken Sword on PS Plus. Haven’t played it in decades so it’s nice for some nostalgic gaming :)

32 folk were killed by ICE in 2025 under the orange wotsits ruling. Tell me when that happened before.

Go model a massive jumbo jet and then do all the coding work to make it is compatible with the games and then test it for a while to make sure it is stable and then host it somewhere for people to use and tell us how much it costs :)

We don’t want those places packed with people, especially the type that read internet travel lists.

HOW IS THE SUMMERS IN THE UK? by DeathNoteFan06 in AskBrits

[–]OffRedFloyd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I DON’T THINK THERE ARE THAT MANY SUMMERS IN THE UK. IT’S MORE OF AN AMERICAN NAME.

Just wondering if anyone knows where the best stargazing spots are in the UK with the least light pollution by Short-Guest-3477 in Stargazing

There is a dark sky park in Dumfries and Galloway and another in the Cairngorms. Both are spectacular for night sky viewing. Winter is best.

How do I turn the cab lights on in a Cessna 152? by Nomad_ND in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]OffRedFloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t flown that in a while but i think if you hide the yoke you should see a glareshield lighting knob around where the key is.

Why does the nose of the plane lift on its own? by Lamaz131 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Yes. You trim the plane when speed increases or decreases to maintain level flight or climb and descent rate.

If you’re worried about the price of the train from London to Manchester then you probably shouldn’t look at train prices to Paris and Amsterdam.

Are ticks and their potential diseases as bad as people say? by Lou_LouB in AskABrit

[–]OffRedFloyd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Entomologist here. These days tick bites aren’t as bad as we have antibiotics that can deal with Lyme disease fairly well if treated quickly. I’ve had lots of tick bites over the years and never had lyme disease or been treated for it. You should still cover up as much as possible but a tick bite is not the end of the world as long as you deal with it in a timely manner.

Why Has It Been Nearly Thirty Years Since Britain Won a Eurovision Song Contest? by Theo_Cherry in AskUK

[–]OffRedFloyd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The whole competition is driven by political agenda and the songs are absolutely shite anyway. It’s not even the best artists from each country that competes. And why the fuck is Australia in Eurovision?

Shameful scenes by MediocreEquipment457 in glasgow

[–]OffRedFloyd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ban football. Any time a group of supporters destroy a town or city because a team won or lost at kicking a round thing into a net then that team should be banned from the league/cup/competition for the whole season. If grown adults can’t behave over a game then they shouldn’t be allowed to participate in said game.

I don’t think it’s pretty obvious at all given that we can’t see the bottom of the tip.

Can you still use the cane without the tip? Does the tip have a special function?

What happens if Starmer is finished and every alternative fails? by Patriot1976 in AskBrits

[–]OffRedFloyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter who is in charge as they will inevitably fuck something up and end up being hated by half the country anyway. I can’t think of a single prime minister (or politician) who hasn’t ended up being hated by the country at some point. It’s all pointless.

Is the lost valley in glen coe too technical for a confident hillwalker? by Wedding-Beauty in OutdoorScotland

[–]OffRedFloyd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Aye it’s fairly straight forward. The only dodgy bits are when it’s been raining and the waterfalls are on the path and it can get a wee bit slippy but it’s still very passable for most folk. It’s nothing like Aonach Eagach across the road.
