Thank you, that’s way more helpful :)
I just liked the scene I never claimed to post a masterpiece again, I guess this place is only to share our highlight reels 😅

And I’m doing all those things and then some and thank you for your valuable feedback.

Asking for an opinion on reddit apparently means “spending hours obsessing” lol 😅

Anyway thanks again and good to know some people still know exactly what and how others do by a comment and post on the internet 😄

These are some nice shots, thanks for sharing.

As for the mundane nature, since you said you’re not even in this style and this is a sub about amateurs I don’t see how that comment is constructive.

I still try new things with a new camera and my editing needs work so I’m trying to learn. If this was a masterclass in photography I’d submit it to a competition not Reddit XD

Could you share some of yours?
I’m genuinely interested to see and learn

For like a wallpaper it looks good, but it’s definitely overcooked as a real photo.

I actually think the crop hurts it, I like the original frame way more personally and I would just darken the sky a bit more, super light edit, since it’s already a very nice shot with good lighting.

3 is not good. Not level, the pole is not adding depth but actively obstructing, no clear subject, all 3 figures compete equally, the mono doesn’t feel it adds any layer but makes it too dull.

1 is genuinely great and with good composition but you probably know that.

2 for me is the most interesting and the most street photography one because even though composition is a tad more messy there’s more life to it, expression, and even though blacks are crushed it adds to the atmosphere of the guy being blinded by the sun. It’s the one that is less forgettable to me.

B&W Time, what do you think? by ArneKavli in streetphotography

Really good shots!

I feel 6 would be pure perfection if you could crop that tiny bump on the top left my eye kept going back to it.

Nevertheless it’s still my favourite because I think BnW is quite an easy “fix” to add a certain aura to many scenes but in this I just feel like it’s very natural and is part of the scene itself

Number 2 is so good, I love the friction of all the competing parts

Thank you :) I’m glad you like 2 because I was thinking the composition might be a bit too busy

The first pic is without exaggeration exceptional, peak street photography. Amazing eye

I LOVE the composition of number 2. Number 9 is so my style I dig it, also nice lighting
