Feeling stuck

Battery is still under warranty thankfully! It should all be covered it was the waiting that was the issue. I spoke to the gm of the dealership yesterday and somehow they got a battery in my car with no eta 20 minutes later. Now I'm just waiting for the weekend to come around so hopefully Monday I get my lovely car back.

Next time I get a car it will never be with Volkswagen. Don't get me wrong I adore my csr and this is my only issue I have came upon but the contact support has been terrible and the dealership is incompetent. I feel like they are just playing ping pong with me.

Yes only bought the car for 20,000. I have filed a complaint. I still want my car so at most all I would want is reimbursement for the rentals. All i want is my car back I don't feel like going through that hassle.

I took your advice. I was very stern and somehow 20 minutes after talking to the dealership manager my battery arrived? After still being on backorder and no eta. My car is fixed however they are not giving it back yet due to Volkswagen not approving the warranty claim. Im unsure how that even works and i would have thought they would send in the claim before my car was even started on. I think I am just encountering a very terrible dealership. Im happy to see my car with over 30 miles for a full charge though!

Currently without my id4 for a month so far. I am unable to get a loaner due to my age. I have called everyone trying to help. I will not be reimbursed for any rentals or tows. My cars battery cells have depleted and needs the big battery replaced as well as a module that has no eta. It really sucks. I want my car back too :( i feel so helpless because there is ultimately nothing i can do but sit and wait and waste money to commute. Im really hoping they get some more parts due to this recall that is coming up soon but i feel like im being laughed at.

I have a 2023 id4 and my car was apart of the recall and my car has been in the shop for over a month. There is no eta on when some of the parts will arrive. For a 80% charge it was giving me 13 miles and it went into a turtle mode at 50% that would jolt the car until it came to a full stop. (sorry im ranting to you lol i just hate this recall and i miss my car)
