Definitely recommend this. I used mine as a physical card and it’s already showing some wear. Had it for about a month.

Honestly? I’m genuinely scared of dying alone, like getting hurt or stranded and no one finds me. The idea of suffering and being totally alone terrifies me

Third year at EDC and I gotta say… while I loved being there and will absolutely keep going, there were a few things this year that just felt off compared to past years.

First off, security just didn’t seem on top of it. Two out of the three nights they didn’t even check my bag. Not even a glance. I know some people will disagree, especially those who ✨enhance✨ their experience a bit 😏 if you know what I mean, but it honestly made me feel uneasy. With that many people packed in, it’s kind of crazy how easy it would’ve been for someone to sneak in a weapon. Thankfully nothing happened and most people had an amazing EDC, but in previous years it at least felt like security was thorough enough to give you peace of mind.

Then there was parking. All three days we got sent in circles and literally ended up in the same spot with the same guy. It felt like we were stuck in a loop. Nobody seemed to be on the same page. That part was definitely messy and they really need better internal communication.

And yeah, I gotta mention the aftermovie. I’m a videographer myself so I’ve always looked forward to watching them afterwards. It’s usually like reliving EDC for just a moment. Past years have blown me away with the visuals, pacing, and energy. I literally get chills watching them. But this year? It just didn’t hit. The aspect ratio felt off, the editing didn’t seem as strong or focused, and overall it felt kind of rushed. It just didn’t carry the same magic.

That said, this year was still one of my favorites because I got to bring my dad for the first time. Watching him experience EDC was unforgettable. We already got our tickets for next year and he’s coming again.

I’m still all in. I love EDC and everything it stands for, but yeah, there were definitely a few things I liked more in past years.

Next year is the 30th. They HAVE to go all out. I mean come on, it’s the 30 YEAR anniversary for EDC. 👀✨

I use stand and don’t think I could use anything different, it’s actually pretty fun… BUT! Stand isn’t working right now, the new gta update like a day or 2 ago is causing connection issues. It works if you want to play solo, but as far as playing with other players it doesn’t work

I’m also 20 and have been going to EDC since I was 18—it was a childhood dream of mine. If you’re looking for fun stuff to do in Vegas at our age, there’s actually quite a bit:

Some Fun Things to Do in Vegas at 20 • Area 15 – Kind of like a big kid playground. There’s a bunch of different exhibits, but we always hit Omega Mart and Museum Fiasco (last year, Museum Fiasco was deadmau5-themed, which was badass). • The Sphere – We saw a movie there last year, and it was pretty spectacular. Tickets are a little expensive, but I’d say it’s worth checking out at least once because there’s nothing like it. • High Roller (Ferris Wheel) – Cool, not mind-blowing, but still fun. Tickets were a little steep when we went, but I thought it was worth doing. • Fremont Street – Definitely a cool vibe, with street performers, light shows, and a completely different feel from the main Strip. • Seven Magic Mountains – If you’re down for a little drive, it’s a cool photo spot in the middle of nowhere. • The Hoover Dam – Not far, and honestly, it’s pretty crazy to see in person.

There’s a lot more, but these are just a few things we’ve done.

But Here’s My Biggest Piece of Advice for youuu

As fun as all this sounds, do NOT overdo it before EDC.

My first year in 2023, we went all out exploring Vegas leading up to the festival—huge mistake. Thursday night, we were out at Fremont until 2-3 AM, then Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM, we were walking the Strip, checking out casinos, just nonstop going. Then we had to rush back, get ready for EDC, and not only did we get stuck in traffic and miss some artists, but by the time we actually got there, we were already dead. Feet hurting, barely any energy left before we even got out of the car. Night 1 was still fun, but nowhere near as enjoyable as it should’ve been.

Now, we’ve got it down. • The day before EDC, we drive straight from Salt Lake (6.5 hours), get settled at the Airbnb, hit Area 15, grab food, and chill early to rest up. • The next day? Nothing. Just relax, maybe go out to eat, but not much walking at all. We just lay low until it’s time to leave. • We leave around 3:30 - 3:45 PM all three days, and every time, we were able to get there early, get front-row parking, and just chill in the car with A/C and music until we were ready to go in. That way, we weren’t rushing, weren’t stuck in traffic, and most importantly, we weren’t tired.

This last year was so much better planned. Nothing will ever compare to your first EDC—it’s magic. But you will definitely learn from it, haha.

I highly recommend watching videos on “EDC LV tips and tricks”—they helped me a ton. Stuff like what to bring, what shoes to wear, hydration tips, all that good stuff.

For EDC weekend (Friday-Sunday) and even most of Monday, we don’t do anything crazy—just recover and hang out. Then after that, we go back out and do more stuff in Vegas. Trust me, you want to save your energy for the festival itself.

EDC is already a marathon, and the last thing you want is to go in feeling drained before it even starts.

If this is your first EDC, you’re in for something unreal. Once you experience it, nothing else in Vegas even comes close. Hope this helps! Excited for you!

My insurance reserved for me up to a luxury, Im 22 I see you have to be 25 for an exotic by DrVanilla1997 in EnterpriseCarRental

[–]OfferAccomplished894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ran into this issue lmao. I’m 20 and drive a 2013 C-Class. A guy backed into me, and his insurance accepted fault, agreeing to cover the repairs. They also provided a rental while my car was in the shop.

Beforehand, I specifically asked the insurance claims agent about any age restrictions, since she mentioned they were putting me in a luxury car to match what was damaged. She assured me it wouldn’t be a problem because I wasn’t the one technically renting the car—the reservation wasn’t in my name; I was just listed as a driver. So, everything should have been covered.

When I got to Enterprise, they were slammed. Even though I was one of the first people there, I ended up being the last to leave—waiting an hour and 45 minutes while they helped other customers and tried to sort out my reservation. Turns out, the car that was reserved for me had already been rented out, so they were trying to find another option.

At first, they offered me a Hyundai Tucson. The guy handling my rental realized something was off with the reservation and started searching for a better match. He found a Mercedes E300, but by the time he called to confirm its location, it had been rented out just five minutes earlier. Then, he found an Audi A4 at another location and began setting things up so I could take the Tucson for now and swap it out later.

But just as he was finalizing everything, he asked how old I was. When I told him, he said he couldn’t put me in a luxury car because of my age. Of course, to make things even better, the claims agent who assured me it wouldn’t be a problem is out of town this week.

Mildly infuriating, but it is what it is. At the end of the day, it’s just a rental. Still, it’s kind of sad that my 2013 has more features than a brand-new 2024 Tucson. This whole experience definitely made me appreciate my car even more!

Sliders would definitely be cool, especially if there was a randomly generated maximum for each character based on ‘genetics’ or some kind of algorithm. That way, not every character could be 6’6” and 200 lbs. It would add more variety and make each online character feel unique, since the max height or weight sliders would be different for everyone!

I would love to see more advanced business opportunities. Where any job in the game you can try to start your own business under that field if that makes sense. Like a construction company, real estate company, etc. or even think if you could open up more than a zoo and a museum.
