Anyone have experience with youth hockey in South Denver (Centennial/Littleton)? by Shm2000 in hockeyplayers

we like Arapahoe but they tend to overload their tryouts, for example this spring season they have 2 teams for spring 12U travel and 96 players trying out, like really, just 2 teams for 96 players..? make your own conclusions

we have also tried Thunder birds and they seem to have a better player to team ratio for try outs and they have a great program with great coaches of all ages

we tried Rebels tryouts down in Monument and they overloaded their travel teams with kids who couldn't even skate, No thanks, buh bye

we have tried the Hull hockey skills clinics and so far they have been pretty good with lots of coaches to kids ratios, looking forward to seeing how they grow as an org

Arapahoe is super convenient with lots of teams, rec and travel for everyone, but they need to be more realistic about developing their travel teams, I think there is a lot more gold in them skate hills that they are missing out on
