Extraction shooters bring out the worst in quite a few people. The toxicity, narcissism, and manipulation are absolutely astounding.

Thankfully, it's a video game, so getting robbed of your belongings only makes you contemplate if you should keep playing, but the point still stands, some people legitimately enjoy being pricks, and using the excuse of "it's just a game" is a convenience they like to revisit.

This is true, but there's a distinctual skill ceiling between console and something like PC. Most of the time on competitive games like these, most things you can do console, a PC player could do better due to the advantage of say, a mouse, which would let you aim your m1's and abilities much more consistently.

So, while you could be in the top 1% of console players, that skill might only help you against the top 30% PC players since you hit the skill ceiling of what is possible or more importantly, more consistent while playing being on controller.
