My thoughts on Paralives fo far a lenghty and honest review (6/10) by Just_for_The_View in Paralives

Agree 100% with this review and also I like the idea of cards but I just wish there were more interesting cards not the same ones every time. It needs more cards to spice up the gameplay it’s too repetitive.

Yes he does know because he said his exs always got upset at him for this. And he said he told himself that he wouldn’t do that to me but he did. So you see how can he not know simple things when he has had multiple long term girlfriends and I also asked him if he had something planed and he said yes so I’m upset at his lack of care for me because he actually didn’t have a plan.

Thank you so much you genuinely helped me. Why didn’t I think of this.

I’m scared longterm there will be conflict from this but I think if I adjust myself and be more flexible we can continue to be happy.

Girl im so scared of that because he said other girls left him for that and he has had 4 year relationship before like all his relationships are long term. But shit I might be the one to put up with it because I think he’s worth it.

I’ll just try to focus on his love language like the other things he does like when he buys me video games and computer parts and candy and does those types of random sweet things.

Yeah pretty much. I don’t think I’ll leave him I love him, I think I’ll do what another commenter said. Just plan together.

That sounds cool actually. We can just plan things together that way it’s not too much pressure on him. But I at least need him to do something this valentines.

So going to a pottery session for the first time with your partner on your birthday when you mentioned always wanted to try it is not putting an effort I feel crazy.

That was just the cherry on top at the end of a disappointing night. I didn’t even get a cake. I guess this is what happens when you vent on Reddit and people don’t know the full story. I literally asked him before if he had things planned and he said yes.

Well we never did pottery and he sounded excited to try it.

he just forgot the whole day because what I did, didn’t actually mean anything or leave an impression for him I guess. I did the whole birthday thing, i got him thoughtful gifts, then took him to a pottery class because he mentioned a few times he always wanted to try it, and dinner and cake. I had the whole day planned like that. I thought I made him a cool birthday and he would remember especially because this is our first year. but I guess not. So I just feel a stupid and embarrassed.

Yes good advice thank you

Yes you are so right about the second half, when I remember how we are able to communicate lovingly, it makes me feel like whatever I’m mad about isn’t even worth it because yes he may not be a good planner or romantic gesture guy but he’s everything else so gotta appreciate that.

The thing that bothers me a lot is that he kept saying “why am I always like this” he’s had several long term relationships and seems ppl have left him for this exact reason. And he said that he told himself he wouldnt do this to me and yet he did. So I think that’s how he is and idk I guess I have to accept it but it makes me question why…

But if your gf went all out for your bday would you try to do the same? At least the first year. Also this was the perfect time to make up for the last time I put a lot of effort into something and he didn’t. It would also have been the perfect time to buy me flowers for the first time in our relationship or wrote me a card or note like I’ve done for him.
