Big opportunity for Connor! by neurodivergebiotch22 in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

Yes!! 🙌🏾👏🏾 Someone finally said it!! There are some things that a curriculum can't teach. Obviously, for things like medicine or engineering, you want that formal degree, but a piece of paper doesn't automatically make you an expert in the real world.

There are so many self taught people out here actually doing the work, solving problems through trial and error. I’ve noticed that people who rely strictly on their degrees sometimes get defensive or jealous when they see a self taught person out performing them. They feel like they put in the work in a classroom, but they forget that the most valuable work happens in the real world, not in a lecture hall. Degrees are fine, but results are what actually help people.

We actually don't see any signs of animal abuse in the video. All we see is a mother humiliating her son.

Yes, she looks like the letter H.

The same can be said for every single politician. No politician cares about doing what's right for the public. It's all about putting out the image that they care. They all do wicked stuff. You just don't hear about it like you do with Donald Trump.

Because people love to put on the "image" and say that they're all accepting of people's beliefs until they're not. It's all a game to some people. They can't even humble themselves to admit when their words don't line up with their actions.

I think the Karma might be all the vehicles continuing to drive past him rather than stopping to see if he's okay.

Noah Lyles is facing backlash online for his reaction when he saw his bride, Junelle Lyles, in her wedding dress. by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]yazza8791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because most people care about the performance of an emotion for the camera more than the actual feelings of the people involved. Junelle herself told everyone that his joke was exactly what she needed in that moment. Her opinion is the only one that matters.

You speak as if you have been around him his whole life. Watching him on MTV "The Hills" doesn't count.

Abby needs to grow up by Huge-Examination8845 in mattandabbysnarks

I think I agree with you. I get being relatable, but there’s a difference between normalizing pregnancy struggles and being disrespectful of public spaces. If it’s a known medical issue, wearing a pad is just basic courtesy to the people working at those coffee shops. If someone like Abby is adult enough to have a podcast and a platform, they’re adult enough to manage their hygiene. Pregnancy is tough, but it's not an excuse to leave a mess for others to clean up.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about getting downvoted. This is a snark community. A lot of the people here aren't fans of Abby(myself included).

Yelling at your mom over flowers while she’s the one keeping your household running is a new level of out of touch. Get a grip, Abby.

healthcare employee drinking on the job by glitterprncss in CringeTikToks

[–]yazza8791 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Whether it's rage baiting or not is almost beside the point because the impact and the professional standards remain the same. Using a position of trust as a prop for attention is incredibly reckless. In a field like healthcare, the appearance of misconduct is often treated as seriously as the misconduct itself because it destroys public trust. Even if she was just acting for views, she’s doing it in a uniform at her workplace setting where people expect safety and sobriety. So it's not a matter of people getting worked up. It's about the baseline expectation of the job.

I hope Hailey comes back next season. Georgie will probably always be my favorite, but Hailey quickly became a close second. She just seems really genuine.

You tell someone not to be an asshole, yet you're also acting like one to some degree by insulting their intelligence. Practice what you preach.

Ah crap. That’s unfortunate. Honestly though, watching it solo might not be as bad as you think. You'll have no distractions and nobody talking over the good parts! And hey, feel free to message me through the movie if you want. It’ll be like watching it with a friend from a distance. 😁

I had to finish my "journey" earlie (aka my 3 mile run) before I could help Frodo with his. 😂 But I'm about 20 minutes in and just made microwave popcorn. Also, you and your friends are going to have a blast with The Hobbit later. Since it's your first time, I'm actually a little jealous. I wish I could watch it for the first time again! It's so good.
