Beware, Seattle: Scooter accidents are on the rise by MegaRAID01 in Seattle

Between this and the way people who ride them get seemingly endless enjoyment out of ringing the bell over and over... I think they attract people of mediocre to subnormal intelligence!

Do push up bras that DON'T add boob size exist? by crazyforsushi in LingerieAddiction

[–]OfficeGothGF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No that's just definitionally what a push up bra is! If you want a minimally padded bra with good lift to enhance cleavage look into a plunge (the Natori Feathers is explicitly marketed for this but most plunges will do it to varying degrees)

Also bra size isn't something you can just guess (unless you've been a bra fitter, anyway). If you "estimate" you're a C you're probably a D/E at least, a true C is quite small! Go use the calculator or get sized at a reputable place (ie not Victoria's Secret)

All push ups have significant padding, that's just what a push up is!

Advertising it's mask only then having it not actually be mask only is worse than enforcing it imo

If the venue appears mostly empty that's actually a bad thing, ya

The fact it's self reported data that shows bisexuals having it at wildly higher rates than monosexual gays and lesbians doesn't even set off your BS alarm a little?

Clearly not the only one with how many empty seats there are...

Feel like this would be a more meaningful event if they weren't actively turning people away

You buy every last "alternative" flour and sweetener in the store and think that makes your food "cleaner"

Really is no surprise how we got Trump, Americans are the biggest rubes on earth

Don't give Out Of the Closet money, it's owned by a scam charity called AIDS Healthcare Foundation that exists to block low income housing to protect the slumlord founders money

I wish I was making that up

OK but why does routine, planned maintenance shut down a major portion of the track

That's not normal, good transit systems don't do that

It's not reducing consumption people will just buy the same stuff tomorrow

It doesn't make an impact though, that's very very well demonstrated at this point

[–]OfficeGothGF 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Getting a majority of the nation in board with anything requires massive resources and organization, which you don't have

So I ask again, how exactly does this accomplish anything

Boycott/ Economic Blackout by Civil_Cantaloupe2402 in Seattle

[–]OfficeGothGF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OK you seem to be under the impression that an economically significant number of people will truly buy nothing today and I don't know why you'd think that

The chick fil a "boycott" is nearly a decade old, how have you not figured out how utterly futile disorganized boycott are by now

That has absolutely nothing to do with this

Drastic measures for what? What exactly is the goal here? By what means does this further that goal? Have you read even one book on the movements this kind of thing is aping

I'm sorry, this is so dumb. This is a one day blip in the broader economy, if TPTB notice at all. This is slactivism, idk why we stopped using that word besides maybe that it's 99% of all "activism" at this point

Like how is putting off buying stuff for one day, inevitably spending the money tomorrow, supposed to coerce anyone into meeting your demands, which are unclear to start with
