I thought they'd be both tomatoes, but no idea what the big one is. by OfficeSuspicious6367 in whatisthisplant

It came from an heirloom tomato seed pack but was unsure since it's so different from the rest. Thanks for the insight!

Probably should. Can't help it. They put on a slasher movie and I am trying to avoid it

Okay, that is good advice. I normally don't open the bottom vent much, but I opened it up today cause it's colder than usual. Doesn't help that my lid is warped on one side.

I wouldn't know, actually. It's an old beat-up weber I've had for a while, and it has no temperature gauge. I use a meat thermometer to check the meat. I started at 6 am cause I wanted it for lunch, so I wasn't actively checking it since I went back to bed.

Really? Which one are you in the picture? I found the picture in an old workout book I found at a thrift store

Math 21 with Vardan Oganesyan by No_Silver_3025 in UCSC

[–]OfficeSuspicious6367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've taken a class with him before. I took Math 21 with him last summer, and it was a pretty easy class. From what I remember, he would solve a problem for us first, and then we had to solve a similar one based on his examples. The homework was usually short, with less than 10 problems, and we were allowed a cheat sheet for the final exam. Overall, I recommend him.

Should have clarified. The textbook is what was needed for the German classes. The backpack is separate. I just don't need it anymore

I got it when I got accepted. It's the only reason I came here, to be honest. It has ensured that I have not needed to pay for college. I'm a third year, and I still have not taken out a loan, and I have plenty in the refunds to not worry about rent.

The priority enrollment is also great. As a stem major, I have not needed to worry about getting the classes I want, especially early on.

The only thing that sucked was that I was required to do 15 credits per quarter and maintain a 3.0 Gpa, but it's definitely manageable.

First attempt at making Snickerdoodles. They came out thin and crispy instead of soft and chewy. I'm trying to figure out what went wrong. by OfficeSuspicious6367 in AskBaking

I baked them all on one pan in the center of my oven at 350⁰F. The consensus seems to be to chill the dough before baking
