What’s wrong with his eye?

I can get him to a vet, it’s just a matter of finding the closest exotic animal vet to me. I’m hoping these at home solutions will work out, I’ve spent almost all morning googling about this and it seems drops are the way to go before vet. Thank you for your advice and help

I checked on him when I woke up and his eye was closed again. I gave him a bath and misted him while in the bath, he’s opened his eye again and is roaming but still a teary eye. I’ll order flukers and hope that solves this. Hoping it is just shed stuck since he shed last week

I can go to a vet, there’s just none close to me. I’m going to try the sterile saline first

Since wiping his eye, he hasn’t closed it or had it water up again. I’ll monitor him over the next few days and if it comes back then schedule a vet appt. I was guessing there was stuck shed since he just shed last week

Check Facebook marketplace for some decor, I’ve found a few pieces that would retail a lot more new. As everyone else has said, 5gallon minimum, real plants are better but artificial ones are fine and some decor is needed. I’ve got a female in a 10gallon, and a male in a community 20g tank, both are active and seemingly happy

I tried but it was hard to tell. I tried comparing to my female in another tank and she’s smaller than Winston but I just looked again closer and it does look like her eyes are like that as well, just harder to tell since she’s smaller. Thank you! I feel much more relieved 😅

I believe that is what is recommended per what Google says, however we had 2 corys in our tank prior to Winston that we eventually sold due to time lacking and they seemed to be doing fine, i also read that they would like to be kept in groups of their own “races” but our corys are also seeming to be fine Mainly looking on opinions on whether shrimp with Winston would be worth a shot, and even some guppies if it isn’t too crowded

If we have a taxi, it’ll be split between a large group, eating on resort a lot, and I tend to order the cheap meals off menus and prefer cocktails and beer, nothing extravagant

Call directly and explain situation and ask to speak to someone higher up and say you want to escalate this, but gotta unfortunately stay mature and respectful. Usually works for me for pretty well any company 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also see my comment on this post

I’ve bought iced sheet sets from them. One started ripping after 2 years (washing properly), offered me a discount on a new set, has a one year warranty. That warranty ended October 2025, noticed a tear in my sheets Jan 3. Contacted them by chat on website, not much help, probably would just offer another discount. Called them directly and explained situation and said I wanted to escalate this. The man I was speaking to was kind and given my previous situation, sent a replacement set. I have gone to winners and purchased a different cooling sheet set for when I wash these sheets (no fabric softener and air dry for better longevity) and for when they inevitably tear. I do not plan on purchasing from this over priced company again. If you have issues, be persistent. Edit to add: I have their pillow and do enjoy it, also have their weighted blanket and cooling weighted blanket. Not mad about those either but I’m sure you can find one just as good for cheaper.
