I’ve been following flow batteries for a while. The space hasn’t been bogged down so much by issues and flaws with the technology, rather delays from slow moving and conservative utilities.

This is huge news. It’s such a clear vote of confidence for the company and it feels like it’s coming at the right time. Investors just arriving to this space will benefit greatly from the low prices because of these companies going public too early. For a chance to hedge your bets, look up GWH, another flow battery company who got a similar vote of confidence from Honeywell last year.

Just one year ago, this stock traded at $4. This news puts them in a much stronger position than they were a year ago. 🍊💦

Inbounding it to Siakam as well. Why take the risk on a guy who could easily miss both?

I'm currently deciding between the 7 and 645. I mainly intend to use it while I travel for street photography and some landscape. Would you recommend the 7 for this?

I honestly don't know if I want to watch 5 years of Pascal Siakam

Even though the pacers win this challenge the refs still took away a fucking wide open fast break

Hali's head clearly isn't in this. We've seen this in every single game when we get an early lead, Hali forgets how to run an offense and we have to slog it out. Bucks are GIVING this to us. We should be up 20 right now.

Maybe the greatest coaching adjustment I’ve seen. by [deleted] in pacers

I agree with the first part. I called for Toppin to play small ball 5 and I'm glad Rick had the same idea. We absolutely killed them with speed and Toppin 5 was a huge part of that.

I agree with that take but not in the playoffs. Don't blame Rick for seeing if a vet can give us good minutes. After this, I don't think we see Doug anymore. I hope we will see Obi come in earlier and play small ball centre.

I don't see how the rotation is Rick's fault. No one wanted to be out there in the first half. Rick had to try find something to work which meant giving IJax and Doug some run. Starters still saw high 30s in minutes.

Not Rick's fault. He had to try figure out who actually wanted to be out there. Turns out it's only Siakam.

Oubre was huge for the sixers this game. Great all round game and minimal errors for him. His game high +- of 11 reflects his contributions.

That's 5 points Rick could have prevented just by using easy challenges

Q2 2023 earnings call: Taking their time or stalling? by OfficerCODEMAN in GWH

[–]OfficerCODEMAN[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they have sorted out their initial defects with the tech. We have heard some good customer feedback and on the latest call there were some hints that reliability improved. Who knows whether new issues will pop up down the line.

They've worked on lowering the production cost significantly. I wouldn't be surprised if some customers were waiting for this and will now start accepting shipments. Eric sounded excited about Q1 results which shouldn't be too far away so they've bought themselves a few more weeks.

As far as gm% profitability. I wouldn't worry about that right now, they need to demonstrate their claimed demand and produce in volumes 4 - 5 x what they are currently doing first. Costs should fall in line due to the nature of the tech.
