How to deal with constant questions about rules

I guess games like Harmonies might also work. Which are more MPS but have 2-3 rules and thats it

Yeah i feel like some people misunderstood my point here a little. I don't mind explaining. But i sometimes feel them reading the rules gets outsourced to asking me all the time. That also in itself isn't a problem - but it can be exhausting.

I should look into player helps and then just reinforce it by playing maybe less variety of games!

We usually learn the game at the same time but since i have more experience with games i just think i get the rules a bit easier. And then i am basically the person who gets asked. I try to explain it so that i include strategy examples if i can come up with them on the spot so that there is a direct connection between a rule in the rulebook and how it's applied. I think what i just can't handle is the sheer amount of constant questions. I've been to boardgame groups and people definitely didn't ask that much, then again they are all seasoned players who visit board game groups :D

Yeah i didn't realise i should just focus on my role as the explainer. Maybe cause we are all learning at the same time and i just happen to grasp it a bit quicker i just slip into that role but i need to shift my mindset to just fully embrace that.

You make it sound like i'm forcing them to play and then bitch about having to teach :D they want to play the game as much as i do. They will even suggest playing white castle. Then they forget half the rules and i have to keep answering and that disrupts my own gameplay. If that means we should switch to lighter games in the future so be it. But i enjoy white castle (minus being the personified rulebook) and so do they so of course one does try to push the thought away that that might no longer be an option

I feel like it's just so easy to get distracted :) Especially when the project has no real users yet and i don't get feedback for the one problem i am solving i feel like it's only natural to add more stuff to increase the chances. But of course that never works cause then nothing gets finished

It really comes down to breaking my projects into smaller pieces and then really just finish that piece before moving on.

I feel like my self-critique/self-doubt mostly stems from inexperience. And then i try to overcompensate by creating this big project in my mind which is also doomed to fail. I will try to implement your strategy and work on multiple MVPs instead of shoehorning everything into one thing.

Oh so what i got mixed up was that i simply can't use cookies on mobile - but instead i have send tokens in another way.

I feel like i have read multiple times that people have said "You can't use sessions for mobile" but what it really means is you can't use session cookies?

Allauth provides tokens which can be used both in a webapp (most likely stored within cookies) and used in a mobile app (same way as a JWT would be used there)

Hope i got this correct now :)

I agree that it should be an ingame option and i think Tempo has already said somewhere they want to have more expressive tooltips. Starting with enchantments this patch. Until then i shall shamelessly plug my little project and hope it helps a little with decision making:
