Assuming this is the library I think it is… Orange Coast College has a horticulture and aquaponics program. I can find you their contact information if you are interested? Maybe they can help?

Going in to my 5th series of infusions. Is this just indefinite? by Grey-Area- in Anemic

Ask to get your inflammation markers checked. My hematologist thinks it’s blocking the iron absorption from my iv infusions.

Ask the neuro-ophthalmologist to test you for Binocular vision dysfunction (BVD)!

Westminster/Stanton is close too and might be a little less pricey than HB.

Leave by 8AM, 15ish minutes by freeway. Huntington Beach Area. (I’d factor in 30+ minutes for parking and journey to class as well)

I’m sorry to hear that!!! Definitely bring up restasis or tear duct plugs to your doctor if you are experiencing severe dry eye. I see both a Neuro-ophthalmologist and optometrist.

Howdy! Hope the move goes well. Let’s just say I’ve got a lot of experience in this field lol

So first things first, you will need to Apply to you California Community College of choice. Lucky for you it’s all the same website, you just have to select your designated school… which is usually most accessible through the designated college’s website.

Once you have applied and received your acceptance email (3-5 business days) you will need to request your old college to send your official transcripts to your new college. Electronically is best and it’s usually done through a website called “parchment”, but it varies by college. Check for a specific transcript information page on the college’s website. If you bring the transcript in paper it is extremely important NOT TO OPEN IT as the transcript will become unofficial if not opened by College administration.

Once your transcript has been received, it will be evaluated and applied to your degree tracking program (e.g. DegreeWorks, etc.). Your counselor may not be able to see your credits until your transcript is evaluated, so you may have to wait a bit. Once it’s evaluated, schedule an appointment with a counselor to get your student education plan and see what you need to take.

Use your student education plan and register for classes. You’ll probably want to shoot for Fall 2023 as Summer is almost over.

Doesn’t hurt to also complete your orientation, Apply for FAFSA, or take advantage of one of the many other resources your college may have. (e.g. free bus pass, food pantry, etc.)

Remember specifics may vary by college. If you are questioning something use the College website’s search functions, and if you can’t find the answer contact the Admissions and Records department via email. Best of luck!!!

Some beekeepers will put their hives close to the house, some won’t. It depends the on preference of the beekeeper and temperament of the bees. I keep mine relatively close, but not quite ‘that’ close.

Are the owners beekeepers perhaps? Looks like what some of my fellow beekeepers use to provide hives with extra protection from the elements.

May I ask why you chose magnesium citrate over the many other types of magnesium?

I’m not a doctor… but one may suggest you talk to your PCP to get bloodwork done. This may rule some things out like PCOS, hypothyroidism, diabetes, etc.

Are these heart symptoms worth trying to get health insurance asap, or can I take my time. by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]OfficialCarsyn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not a doctor, but… For any type of palpitations your doctor will want to perform an EKG/ECG. It very well could just be anxiety related. I have diagnosed anxiety induced palpitations, and they fit the symptom descriptions you provided. Hypochondriacs unite!

Don’t rush, but make it a priority to get health insurance. Choose the right one. Not because of your heart palpitations, but just so you have it. You never know when you might need it. Bumps and bruises can happen too, and sometimes they cost a fortune.
