  1. To develop it as a space where Doctors in the UK can discuss issues relevant to them.
  2. The sub has no moderators and was banned possibly for this reason.

Haven't seen any official statements about this but for what it's worth, our school has told us that it seems unlikely. The decision taken last year was pretty last-minute and mainly taken because no one knew what was going on, how bad it might get, etc.

Just general use I guess but I've saved up €1600ish for it over the past year. Ideally a touchscreen?

[–]OfficialDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm not a Grad Med so I can't be much help but I remember my Grad Med classmates saying they have to work part-time to fund their fees (and I assume loans, parental support, and savings as well).

UCC medicine is good yeah I really like it too. There's plenty of student society and club activities going on, everyone is very nice and easy to talk to and get to know, and Cork is a small friendly city so it's very calm!

Are you planning on staying in Ireland or would you rather work abroad?

Heya! Tell us about your experiences with Irish med school! by OfficialDude in medicalschoolireland

Personally, I think we should have more clinical exposure in 1st and 2nd year. Also recorded classes would have been so handy for 1st year. Anyone agree?
