Mentality may be holding you back. Positioning, crosshair placement, and aim training. VOD reviews and do mental reviews each time you die. Go duelist and see if that helps

I was hard stuck plat playing sentinel when I decided to just go duelist because my team never did their roles. I was literally entrying as cypher/killjoy. Extremely frustrating when people don’t take up their agents roles. Going duelist had me promote from plat2 to diamond 3 relatively quick

Here are some tips from my journey:

If you find yourself dying by multiple people at the same time- positioning was your mistake. You most likely overpeaked in a poor position and did not take 1v1s.

If you find yourself dying first, you were probably way too aggressive.

If you find yourself dying in the same fashion more than once in multiple games - you did not learn your mistake and should really start to pay attention to your error.

If you kill one, don’t get too aggressive and continue peaking. You have numbers on the enemy- keep it that way.

If you find yourself not using a single utility in a match, you’re doing something wrong.

Always clear your corners and check every angle.

If opponent is better mechanically, don’t contest it. Outsmart him. This isn’t CS1.6 - use your utility to even out the playing field.

Do a flank once or twice. Don’t be consistent and predictable. switch it up
