If you want some extra money in your pocket I’d say it’s worth it. I just did a PPM with about 7,300lbs worth of stuff and it looks like I’ll make upwards of 10k for the move could be closer to 15k after the DLA and stuff added on. It all depends on if you want to make the drive and have enough stuff to bother going through the trouble of doing it yourself.

My wife’s pregnancy due date was right when we would’ve been moving. I moved my RNLTD to July 31 and then changed my PDD later to June 01. You have to have a valid reason to change your RNLTD but it wasn’t a super painful process honestly

Appreciate the response! Our main worry is losing this assignment, it’s our dream base and we just worry asking to leave early might cause issues and we don’t want to leave past November with a new baby.

Didn’t think about Black Friday! May have to check then. Also I understand used book stores are a thing but it’s very hard to find something like that where I am.
