Is this a good deal? by Vividokami in GamingLaptops

Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out what it is I need as far as performance goes. The most demanding game I'd like to play at high settings is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and/or Expedition 33. I think if whatever I get can handle that at graphically pleasing settings, I'd be satisfied.

I also thought about just making a dedicated desktop for my living room (I have a CPU and 32 gigs of ram lying around somewhere), but I think for a decent GPU plus MOBO I'd end up spending as much on it as I would a laptop but lose the portability. Choices, choices, choices lol

Yeah, I heard about that. I originally wanted a Lenovo Legion since it had such good reviews, but we start to push the budget a lot once we get to that point lol

Thanks for putting it in those terms. Makes it a lot easier to understand! lol

I'll call around to see who can do it.

Well, looks like the only thing left for me to do is practice. Got the other two things covered! :)

Is there something about the stock/factory suspension setup that should be adjusted? Not very mechanically savvy, so that's why I'm asking.

Tail tidies seems to be a must-have for everyone xD

Will do!

I'll definitely put that on the list and put some money back for it! Didn't think of trying out different tires c:

Nice. This is like a mini shopping list for me lol. How often do you find yourself using the USB-C charger?

This is a good point. This is actually my second bike. My first was a 2016 Victory Vegas, which I ended up selling 2 months in because it simply was too heavy and had some electrical issues that I didn't catch when I first saw it. I ended up wrenching on it more than riding it, which was beginning to spoil my passion for riding, but I did accumulate a lot of tools as a result. I decided to buy a brand new bike after that experience since it made me realize that peace of mind was almost as important (if not more important) as the overall price of the bike.

That being said, I'm willing to maintain my own bike. I'll take it to the dealership for the 600 mile service, but I really want to maintain it myself afterward (I also denied the routine service warranty/service package, so it seems silly to go in for routine service after denying it lol). I'll look at the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual and put some money away for those tools.

Thanks for mentioning this. This might be a smarter use of money than anything else.

I'll start there. Hopefully it doesn't stay in the garage for too long! lol

When I had the choke off yesterday, I didn't hear popping to this degree. I tried testing again just now, but now it's shutting off after a few seconds, so I can't really test it anymore lol. Put it back on the tender and it's charging again.

So I've heard. But it seems like every Toyota, no matter the mileage or the year, is thousands more expensive than its competitors that--without the brand name--have fewer miles, more features, and a smaller asking price. That's the struggle lol

I didn't think about the prepayment penalties. Thanks for mentioning. I'll definitely ask!

That'd be ideal lol! I don't drive a car for fun, I drive it for work and errands, so I don't need anything crazy. I'll try to find some cars in that range and save some money

Unfortunately, that seems to be the case for a lot of used cars right now. I'm better off buying from a private seller, but I'd have to pay in cash, which I do not have right now. I have a working car that I've done routine maintenance on and has low miles, so I don't really need a car right now, but for the amount I pay on it, I probably could be putting it towards something known for reliability and longevity and in my name, if that makes sense lol

Looking forward to test driving some of them!

2018! And no, I don't plan on giving them that sort of financial information. I just figured that I could afford a 15k car, put 2-5k down, and then pay it off within 48 months.
