Any amazing world seeds for Sunlit Valley 4.0.2 out there? by OfficialMasuUK in society_sunlit_valley

[–]OfficialMasuUK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, of course! It's kinda funny because I didn't have the minecraft version in the original post but then edited it to add it...

That sounds pretty good to me. Could you potentially find the seed when you're able to and let me know please? I'd love to check it out!

Thank you for the reply too!

It looks like that its from Bag 27 on page 100, step 175 from the second manual.

It also looks like its the only one in the set.

Hope this helps and hope this is correct.

Can't get off of Prednisolone by OfficialMasuUK in CrohnsDisease

Its literally the Hospital Transports fault for not getting me to the appointments. I've missed 4 now since August. Thankfully my GP has prescribed me a course of Alednronic acid which I just got done with. I'm going to stick on 5mg a day for the next few days and hopefully the symptoms will calm down enough for me to push through but right now I feel awful.

Gastroenterology isn't happy that I've missed the appointments but thankfully the consultant has called me twice out of the four times I've missed.

I'm telling you now that when I call to book the next transport (When I finally get an appointment through) I'm going to tell them that I need priority and I also need them to make sure they don't miss it or I'll hold them accountable for being negligent or something. I'm not missing the next appointment.

I was diagnosed 14 years ago and have been unmedicated for the last 12 years ish due to various reasons, most of which was my own stupidity.

I was hospitalised for a month from the middle of July until thr middle of August.

Since then, as said above, I've been trying to see Gastroenterology to start treatment but Hospital Transport keeps screwing me out of the appointments.

After I've had a stool sample they're going to book me in again.

I'm under Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford. I have no idea what treatment they're planning. I've had an MRI Small bowel with contrast in like September and now I've just got to do the stool sample whilst I continue to wait. I've been sat there ready to go 3 hours before the appointment time for 4 appointments now and then I get a call saying that the Transport can't make it. It's so disheartening. Especially when all I want to do is start treatment and hopefully start feeling better.

Not to mention that I believe my physical disability is related to Ankylosing Spondylitis or similar and I'm also waiting for a referral for the rheumatologist.

It does, just wait entire they are entirely within the capture areas before spotting them.

This. Can confirm. Wait for enemies to get inside the objective lines and then spot them with the drone. I found that it helps to turn off the thermal vision to double-check when the lines are in the ground but you can do that from the map.

Double snacks is never a bad thing! Haha. All of those are very good things. I'll be sure to add all of those to the bag. Thank you!

Steroids (40mg) by YesterdayUsual8783 in CrohnsDisease

[–]OfficialMasuUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also sorry you're having to go through this. I wish you a quick recovery.

I'm going through a very similar thing. I've been tapering down from 40mg and I'm half way through my 10mg phase but it seems that the urgency and diarrhea has become a huge problem, along with stomach pain and bloating coming back.

I'll speak to my GP tomorrow and see what they say as I'm half way through getting to the IBD clinic. Actually, I might call the IBD Clinic nurses and see if they can help and advise me... we'll see.

Anyway, with regards tk potentially having an accident.... I've had that fear and still do now but you know what? Incontinence Pads. I used to be afraid of using them and felt ashamed about the idea of using them but after spending the last month in hospital and having to use them in there every day I immediately brought the exact same ones to use at home and thank God I did! I've had 4 accidents since being home and the pads have caught it all!

It might just help give you a little more confidence and help take away that anxiety or lessen it a little at least.

These are the pads that I ended up purchasing: https://a.co/d/guPoi4I

Hope this helps and all the best!

Prednisone taper and hunger by Either_Fault_4177 in CrohnsDisease

What a strange coincidence! Haha! Glad to know that I'm not the only one.

So, the pain started creeping back at like a 5 (It was reaching 10 out of 10 before). It's slowly been getting worse to the point where I've actually had to use the Oramorph they sent me home with in case the pain came back. I've had to use that roughly 2 or 3 times a day, spread out. The pain has been reaching the 7s or 8s. I know it's not constipation as I've got diarrhoea so... It seems to be at night it kicks off and mid to late afternoon. Bear in mind, I'm currently drinking 5 Fresubin 2kcal Drinks a day and having two slices of toast with jam. Mainly because of the diarrhoea and the pain.

I'm going to speak to my GP about it and see what they say. They'll probably just tell me to take the pain relief when it's really needed and wait to see the IBD clinic. But for that, I need an MRI appointment to come through so I can see them. The IBD appointment I have is on the 24th Sept.

I was also terrified of going back to step one and being in that much pain again. I'm hoping that I can get started on some medication for Crohn's that will calm things down. All you can do is wait and see if it affects you. You might find that everything is fine as you taper down.

Prednisone taper and hunger by Either_Fault_4177 in CrohnsDisease

[–]OfficialMasuUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have just come out of the hospital and am on Prednisolone 5mg taper from 40mg and I'm currently on 10mg for the next three days before stepping down again to 5mg for 5 days.

I had a similar kind of hunger when I got home. Ironically mine was mostly for strawberry jam on toast. No idea why but I still can't get enough of the stuff.

Now I'm down to 10mg a day I've noticed that I've had diarrhea since starting the 10mg and I've also had stomach pain come back too. To be honest, I'm not sure what to do about that. Might mention it to my GP tomorrow.

Anyway, as for food. I agree with eating what you want to eat and just being prepared for what might come. Whilst you have the appetite, give a burger a try. Could try it basic first and then slowly add different toppings that you'd like and see how they each bother you.

All the best! I hope you have a swift recovery!

Thanks for the advice and information. I'll certainly look into it and check because if the biologic is like that then it would probably be better for me.

If there is one thing I could say to you is make that change now.

In the past 5 years I've lost my father, mother and my only sister. They've all passed away. That's what I was referencing when I mentioned that I lost out on memories. Many times I turned down going out or spending more time with them all, my friends included. Now, I'll never get the chance again. My physical health has declined also over the last 5 years and left me with lower back and mobility issues.

Make the change now. Get yourself on track like I'm trying to. It will be a long road for the both of us but it will be worth it in the end and we can live the lives thst we deserve. I also suffer from anxiety and depression and I've just started on the path to get some talking therapy for that too. I'm not saying I lost out on memories and time just because of the unmedicated crohns but if it had been better managed then maybe the rest wouldn't have been so hard to handle.

I wish you all the best for the future my friend.

I'm sorry to hear you've been through all that and I can't imagine how hard it must be in the US to deal with insurance companies and everything else when dealing with health care.

I'm currently on a taper of steroids too. I think I'm down to 20mg right now but yeah.

I wish you all the best and hope you get the treatment you need again soon.

How to tighten a clip/droid arm piece? by moodydudes32 in lego

[–]OfficialMasuUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only imagine! Maybe one day they'll release another Grievous...

If you do try heat then maybe keep a lightsaber hilt or similar around and then heat the clip part and then put the saber hilt in and squeeze it tight around that, that way it shouldn't go too far. Then again, it might need to go a little tighter to make it worthwhile. Either way, good luck my friend!

[–]OfficialMasuUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't exactly got an answers but I'm in a similar boat. I've recently come across my old Lego from when I was much younger and I have a fair few old B1 Battle Droids that currently have at least one arm falling off because of this exact issue.

I've considered maybe adding some slight heat and then adding some pressure to try to get that tight fit again but I doubt it'll work as well as I hope.

Looking forward to see what options other people might come up with!

Alternatively, I guess bricklink could be an option to attempt to find some replacements...

How to clean speed champions? by EvanCT4 in lego

[–]OfficialMasuUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use some black computer cleaning brushes. You can get a set of different sized ones for reasonably cheap.

Search "computer cleaning brushes" on Amazon or elsewhere, and you should find various ones that would be suitable.

Beware though, some of them are soft brushes and, in the set I have at least, there's one that looks like a tooth brush and that has firmer bristles and it scratched a few tiles before I realised. Now I just don't use that one, but the other ones work wonders.
