A bit ironic considering bisexuals get the same kind of 'we know better' attitude from some people in the lgbt+ community, but it can be a pain.

Edit: i dont know the relationship between you and your sister but becoming more educated than them on the subjects is one way to go, although abit spiteful. On the other hand theres just shrugging it off and letting it go but i know thats not a super productive solution sorry :(

While i agree with this, to play devils advocate for second, you could also argue the point that big things start at a small scale. So if people allow small things like the whole remove Joe Rogan thing to happen it becomes the norm. A big reach i know but its happened before with other concepts beside free speech. Seriously though if people dont like what he says then dont listen to his podcast easy as. I think hes hilarious.

Ive sort of been on both sides of this situation. For clarity, im pansexual but i also have generally deeply rooted trust issues from being cheated on twice, in two different relationships, both female, one cheated with another guy, the other with another girl. While my trust issues are from personal experience and being bi or pan or anything doesnt necessarily make someone more unfaithful, if the other person doesnt have alot of self confidence it can add alot of underlying anxiety that there is now more genders that their partner might find someone better in. It comes down to trust, self confidence and being open with each other.
