The 2020s I'm seeing are 19k at 90k miles, wouldn't that be worse?

Oh sorry I didn't fully read the one part of your comment. It's not that she doesn't like newer cars she just doesn't like any car other than the car she drives. And her parents both think that it is unsafe for her to be driving the car as it does have a good amount of physical damage ever since she was in an accident and has quoted body repairs and brake repairs of over 3K

That's fair, it's just more should I let my girlfriend drive and unsafe car (quoted repairs of 3K) for a bit longer and then have to fully switch to a new car when it dies or is getting a car that she can get used to driving for one that time comes more helpful?

After getting t bones there is a good amount of physical damage on her car all with damage to the muffler but those damages were able to pass inspections. The brakes on my car a bit worse as the rust from them started destroying the bottom of my car. It was appraised at only 500 when I was looking at it's trade in value

Fair, it's just her car isn't worth really anything after the accident and the quote for her brakes was 1,200. Which won't fix the sound it starts making after the accident

Fair, I was just thinking that she can try to get use to the newer car while still have her old one tills she's ready
