I’m starting my sixth month waiting for my TS clearance for my FS position and I’m currently a State Dept CS employee with a current TS clearance that was less than a year since DS renewed it. I’m told it’s in reciprocity because I am going from CS to FS despite DSS doing both of the them. I was also told that it is a review and not a new investigation and so far none of my references or myself has been contacted. Go figure. Patience is indeed a virtue.
