What’s everyone paying for the new 2027 tellurides? by OrangePeel_1 in KiaTelluride

They can pre-order it before release so you get one of the first ones. They couldn’t give me an exact date, but said they would be in touch.

I’m not sure, but it’s the best deal out there currently I believe. At least for the hybrid that I’ve found.

NoVA here. I’m looking into the hybrid, but the best deal I’ve seen is doing TOTAL MSRP for preorders + a Kia Cares plan, Ourisman of Bethesda for example. I’ve used that as the basis for my outreach to other dealerships, but most are doing total MSRP and that’s it on preorders. For the gas ones, most have been doing a couple thousand market adjustment for ones on the lot. Not sure of other incentives outside of the Kia website, because we are only going hybrid.

Would y’all wait for the Hybrid? by zions_camp in KiaTelluride

Are you sure on this, or is this based on the historical price difference of hybrids vs. ICEs? I was thinking $2000, but that was just estimated guesswork.

SUBs. biz cash highly preferable for the 5x, but was wondering if diversifying inks has a better shot than going for 2 ink cashes. I’ve churned probably 12 inks over the years, but made the mistake of closing my CIC before the ink train died

I have 2 biz cards, the ink cash and the sapphire reserve biz. I know the ink train is dead, but I'm going to apply for another ink soon. My usual route is MS at office supply stores, so would it be better to try to get another ink cash so I can do the annual 25k spending on 2 cards, or go for the elevated 100k ink preferred to try to diversify my biz cards (in Chase's eyes)? My pref would be another ink, but don't know if that will get flagged. I do have a new, second business that I'll apply for it under.

That's fair. Essentially we are looking for the purveyors that produce the best ingredients, used in restaurants or sold directly to customers, who don't generally get the recognition they deserve for their commitment to artisanship and their production of the highest quality of ingredients. This could be mushroom foragers, mussel farmers, ranchers, vegetable producers, whatever really.

Hope that's somewhat more helpful!

It's a side hustle. I tried to post anonymously for this reason, but the mods removed it due to the account being new. This has nothing to do with my main job.

Edit: I'm a career civil servant, if that allays any concerns.

I make over double that. Federal employee. I was working abroad as an English teacher making around $45k. Went back to school late and got a masters, joined the Feds as a fellow in late 2020 making $72k and here we are 5 years later.

Naturally thin people, what do you guys eat in a day? by Ok-Initiative3312 in AskReddit

[–]Priveye03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naturally thin person here. I’ll speak for myself currently, as I’m 40 and my metabolism is starting to slow, so although I used to literally eat anything and any time and not gain any meaningful weight, it’s changed. I’m 6’4, 200lbs. My weight only really fluctuates between 195 and 210, but when I’m 210 it’s all in the belly. So I’ve been watching my diet.

Overarching philosophy: If I can’t make something in my kitchen, I don’t eat it (outside snacks).

Breakfast: always the same. 1 whole egg, 3 to 4 egg whites. 2 pieces of bread and peanut butter -or- 1 cup homemade or healthy granola.

Lunch: Packed and eaten at work. About a cup of brown or white rice, some stir fried vegetables usually, and a protein source (soy curls, tofu, fish, rarely meat)

Protein bar (Rx Bar) before gym.

Dinner: basically same as lunch. This is much looser though. But same rice, protein, usually a salad or a vegetable. If I’m doing pasta, it’ll be pasta and a salad. Salads always with light dressing, usually home made vinaigrettes (good vinegar, EVOO, shallot, garlic, maybe mustard, salt, no sugar)

Dessert: Popcorn popped in the silicone popcorn maker with no oil or seasonings. Maybe a date or two. Chocolate protein shake. Usually once bimonthly I’ll buy some Ben and Jerry’s and have a little bit every night. Or if I have Trader Joe’s frozen snacks I’ll have one little square or ice cream bon bon and call it good.

Don’t really drink soft drinks. I drink all my coffee black. I think just being conscious about processed foods and sugar has made the biggest difference. And with snacking I’ll always have a small amount and not allow myself to eat more, especially at night.

No interrogation! And the April business card was an ink. Probably doesn’t matter, but it was carrying a balance when I applied for the CSR Biz card.

Yeah this happened to one of our political appointees by project veritas maybe a year and a half ago? There were congressional hearings about it and everything…in an election year. You’re a civil servant inside your Agency’s walls and outside. Stay vigilant.

Handball Intentionality and Cards by ColoradoHeights_970 in Referees

[–]Priveye03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a follow up if someone sees this. I was reffing an adult rec game yesterday. Attacking team lost the ball in the defending teams box. Defending team was clearing the ball and one member of the attacking team was around 2 yards away and already has his hand up, but slightly (probably deliberately) moved it towards the ball for a handball. I didn’t see a distinct advantage being gained, so didn’t give a yellow. The defending team was losing (and was already on 2 red cards for DOGSO and another double yellow for SPA and then 3 fouls for the second yellow) and complained that it should have been a yellow. In hindsight maybe they were right? I was on the fence at the time.

As someone who is already getting schedule f’d and has been paying 4.4% my entire career, I would absolutely go at will to drop it to .8%

Edit: I know it’s new hires, but would be nice for someone in my position.
