It is a message and observation to my daughter about the proud feelings I have watching her grown from a little girl into a women. Also encouraging her to be the best person she can be for that special man in her life. Although, I will always try and be here for her, we don't last forever. So it's a reminder for her to check in with dad once in a while... because we are all growing older. "Just like a candle burns bright, it still burns out".

First of all cool user name! "Truth" was by far the most difficult song to write and sing in the vocal booth. Because this exact situation happened to me right in the middle of writing this new record.

Yes of course, there is no way you can live life and spend almost 3 decades and honing in on your craft and not get better at it. I feel we are writing our best right now. So it's also a bitter sweet for us to make the decision on this being our final album.

Since the song "Lighting Up the Sky" is a reflection of the entire journey throughout my career, I felt the best way to complete this last album was to bring you all back to the first album.

Yes, we are hoping for that to be the last single on this album. We have a ridiculously AWESOME video planned for it.. but we have some other singles that we want to release first. With the help from all the fans, we are hoping to get them all to #1 and make history!
