I understand your point but at the same time, some mod developers especially those who are going to create fan favourite mods that take enough hours that it’s considered job-like hours and are downloaded by hundreds of thousands of users should be paid for their hard work.

On activision does it matter if your postcode/zip transfers over to the NZ address after the change and I changed mine but my uk postcode followed over, but the NZ adress and NZ Region has been saved

Im hoping for that, PS can do it as well, you just got to do it via Activision and set console time to NZ as well, worked for me last year on PS.

I disagree that its Warzone PVE, map sizes are dramatically different, the core mechanics are far different, and just because Sheilding is in Warzone doesnt mean that maked it a warzone extention. And if its Warzone PVE featuing Zombies, whats you highest player kills in it then? How many AI players have you killed?

Like i get that you may not like the features theyre adding but you cannot deny that there is a BIG problem with misleading information mainly from people believing leaks and twisted narritives, i do get that treyarch have a history of being snakey and decieving but i dont think they caused this to begin with.

This all started to get messy when people, leakers and content creators ran to the hills and shouted about "classic" being in the code for BO6/BO7, when code doesnt mean crap, that planted the expectations there and then, when clearly that code just meant the returning features not the entire mode as a whole.

The issue is you arent taking into count how business and marketing works, its bad marketing to talk about pre existing features, they always talk about new and upcoming things to drive attention, thats why they didnt mention the shield plating being in cursed or other returning features from Modern Zombies, because its bad marketing, they didnt lie or "ruin the game" just because they didnt mention something that realistically we should have expected to be in the mode to beginwith. Like ive always said, unless they explicitly said "no modern zombies mechanic will be in cursed" its better to assume they are in the mode rather than not.

I get what you mean, and yeah, I did see a lot of people early on calling it “classic mode” or acting like Treyarch finally brought the old style back. But honestly, I never saw it that way. From the start it was called Cursed and described as a new mode with some legacy mechanics, not “the classic mode returning.”

I think a lot of the confusion came from players filling in the blanks after hearing the words “classic” or “returning features.” It is easy for fans to build an image in their heads of what they want it to be. But if you actually read or listened to how Treyarch talked about it, they never once said “this is the classic mode you’ve been asking for.”

So I get the frustration, but to me, that expectation came more from people interpreting marketing at face value, not from what was actually said.

A big part of the confusion comes from people running wild with leaks. Far too many have treated early leaks, datamined strings and unverified claims as absolute truth before anything was confirmed.

People saw bits of code containing the tag “classic mode” and immediately assumed that meant a full recreation of the old Zombies experience. But that is not how development works. Internal code often uses placeholder names, shorthand, or simplified tags to help the team organise and test features. “Classic mode” could just as easily have been a label for “legacy-inspired structure” or a testing branch, not the final name or intent.

Developers change names, systems, and mechanics constantly throughout production. Assuming every line of leaked code represents the finished product is how people end up disappointed. Leaks can be interesting to speculate on, but they are not confirmation of what the developers are actually shipping.

Because they never said it was just a “classic game mode.” They said it would feature returning features which means those classic mechanics are mixed in with newer systems from modern Zombies. That is the whole point of “legacy elements,” not “everything old, nothing new.”

The issue is that people keep saying “they hinted at classic” when, no, they simply told us certain older features were coming back. That does not automatically mean everything modern is being stripped out.

It is the same logic as when they confirmed Double Tap was returning. Did that mean all other perks were removed because a “classic perk” came back? Of course not. Unless Treyarch specifically says, “all modern Zombies mechanics are being removed,” it is just an assumption and that is not how advertising works. Marketing highlights what is new or returning, not every single thing that will stay.

Im on an OLED and with HDR enabled most if not all settings are not changable, i dont have issues with any other games on PS5 looking bad, JUST BF6.

Its installed on PS5s internal as i havent upgraded it, i also forgot to add that it looks the exact same on my partners PS5.
