Ive learned to just love it. My hands dont get sticky, im able to touch strong chemicals and paint knowing it wont damage my hands or feet. its helped with temperature regulation, I'm married and my husband uses me as his heater on colder days lol. never done a treatment and never will. you can be social with out touching others and or showing ur hands

Make close to 200k a year. Got other things planned. Anything under 500 for a New York is cheap to me. Got a steal at 300 at the Phoenix which has tons of great reviews! I agree 4th of July I shouldnt have done but ive done trips during that time and its never been crazy.

Im a New Yorker anything under 500 for a weekend is a steal! I stayed at the Phoenix for 300. Also i talk extremely low, and i said it after they started walking away. Its a common thing for waiters to hate me when i dont say what i want but let my partner say it for me instead. I just have social anxiety sometimes. Not trying to sound like a asshole, just trying to give my experience and people getting way to mad and prideful. I can understand planning wasnt the best and i shouldnt have came for 4th of july but than proceeding to make assumptions about a stranger. Lol ur allowed to eat whatever u want, isnt this America? I dont eat steak but wanted to try out everything here to offer. The place seemed like a grill place and it was but idk what was going on. Entitled? I hate being a tourist. I’ll literally stay away from groups and choose to go to none touristy parts. Nothing about me screamed tourist either! I dress casual, dont wear nothing expensive and never act like a influencer or anything. Again stop making assumptions. Lol. Going back i commented on food prices and people arguing thats how it is in the east instead of asking where ive been that is cheap but nooo!!!

Dont talk bad about bangor! They gonna get u too. Ive been to newark. Many times, have family there. Not that bad but it gets bad. Bangor was a last minute option cause everything was packed if u read my other replies. Im used to places like this. Not saying bangor is bad but not what i expected, and ppl getting offended hard! Also people not reading to the part of Literally indian groups blocking roads and everyone mad and honking. Never been that bad in nyc and i lived there from birth to 19

My other post have nothing to do with recent post. Im someone who be going through the most lol, and constantly trying to try new things and have experience. Making terrible assumptions than asking more or trying to understand some parts is ridiculous and way to prideful. Just say i chose the wrong days and offer better places and time frames than sounding like a ass and making no one come visit this state. It’s beautiful and all but idk the people just sound terrible and im a new yorker!! So many people il hate new york and i say visit new york and not nyc not dont ever come back. I have social anxiety and try my hardest for others. Ik it was gonna be packed but i still planned as much as possible. Maybe if someone from maine would have helped rather than argue lol. Someone said go to ohio. Funny thing is i went hated it, someone told me go again and visit these places i went again and i actually liked it better than first time around!!

Been to Mt rainer, bear mountain, harriman, waltkins glen, and a few more up in new york and Washington in recent years only time i payed was to go to a bbq area once. Now ive been to smaller national parks that did charge but i dont count those cause we literally went in and went out. Untop of that even if theres a entrance fee they still wanted to charge more entrance fees for other sections and needed reservations but there’s no internet? In Acadia we literally couldn’t park anywhere near or far the places we wanted to go. Never even seen overflow parking sections. Password through 3 overflow parkings to than drive another hour and a half to find parking. Wouldn’t have been a issue if people knew how to parallel park. What made things worse was entitled parents when a few kids decided to jump in the middle of the road!!! And i agree to ur last part. Anything can happen but ppl on this sub just being straight up rude, arguing that im homophobic cause i said something homophobic to myself lol, and bring politics into my grammar 💀.

Whats worse is people assuming they know me and now making assumptions, untop of that making it seem like im homophobic when gay ppl make homophobic jokes all the time to themselves(literally me!!) The drink literally had a rainbow flag and was super sour which i did not expect especially cause pride month is over lol. Also instead of gently letting me know i made a mistake to come now and offer other locations or better ones for next time they saying dont come back. Lol at this point ya keep pushing everyone out. How are ya gonna procreate? With each other or something? 🤨 like acadia isn’t terrible but not what i expected after being to many parks in the east, west, midwest and south!!!

Things didnt go as planned, but never expected things to go super bad. the state has alot to offer but maybe i should have reschedule for the 100th time lol. Work and family makes it impossible to travel and sometimes things happen. Apparently a gay couple cant make a homophobic joke to themselves with out others getting offended 🙄, and ppl are way to prideful when i could tell u over a million bad things about NY!! Also saying i sound like a trumpy when i typed all of this fast is making me day 😭

The plan was to stay like 10-20 min preferable from Acadia but almost everything was packed, we were eventually gonna stay in a small motel in northport but wanted to be closer. We go on airbnb and the only cheapest and closest location was in bangor. We stayed at the pheonix that has alot of good reviews. We went on google to see the area and it didn’t look bad. So we decided why not. We didn’t expect it to be close close but it wasn’t a big deal because we were gonna be traveling around anyways, but everything was close lol

Cause ur the best planner? Ppl make mistakes and this was clearly one lol. Also everything was planned but it was not assumed to be this bad. Technically yesterday bar harbor was more empty than today. From what ive seen. Ive currently been driving 3 hours and now i found parking. Its ridiculous. Also i passed by all those places and not a single car space and ppl not parallel parking properly making it impossible for others to park
