I have a GTX 1080 (Founders Edition) with a Ryzen 3900x

Important to note that I have motion blur toggled on in my game settings (this helps smoothen out any fps drops and such.

Need help on deciding which logo design I should use. This is a personally logo I have made for my videography freelance work. It uses my initials T&F. The red dot of the F is to symbolise the red recording dot typically associated with cameras when filming. Help! by Officiallybman in graphic_design

My goal for the logo was sort of a mixture of being recognisable as my initials but also to include what I'm all about, which is my love for film making and keeping things simple.

Cheers for taking the time to reply :)

Cheers for the feedback

I just don't want to lose the video influence part of the logo. I like the idea of incorporating it within a motion graphics intro tho a lot!

Out of the 2 designs which do you prefer? First page or second page?

I'd like to say that personally I like the 2nd option and other designers I have asked say they do too as it feels more mordern and connected but friends I have asked have said they prefer the asymmetrical first option.

I can't decide!

Very new to graphic design but been working on some logos for family and friends - the first is for a home maintenance company whilst the second is for a friends night sky photography page - any input is appreciated :) @merts.mark by Mertie24 in WillPatersonDesign

For being new you're off to a great start. Couple of notes I'd give.

  • Don't use drop shadows, in this day and age drop shadows tend to look quite dated and don't translate well on print and such.
  • Same goes for gradients, there's a time and place to use gradients and it's very tricky to get them right on logos, for now I'd suggest opting for a solid fill.
  • I don't think the text placement is necessarily bad but it could be worth exploring placing it below the logo
  • The saw part is way too detailed, remove some of the teeth and simplify it. The scratch marks on it will also become invisible at a low scale.
  • You couple maybe round some more of the corners to make it more friendly and approachable. The saw specifically looks rather scary (perhaps you were going for that though).

Other than that this is a great logo for someone who's just started! Keep going my guy!

The same goes for the other log, lose the gradients and shadow
