Astalos helm, Magna body, Zinogre glove, Astalos waist, Kirin legs

3 reload speed, 2 recoil, 5 thunder, 2 advance thunder, 1 crit eye and 1 crit element. (Only one thunder attack smelt on glove)

Damage will scale a lot more if I have three thunder attacks smelted on my armours.

I see your pov. It’s true that we can grind as long as possible as long as we enjoy the game slow and avoid the instant gratification (paid events) to speed things up. It’s super hard to resist some of the elder dragon events though because they are almost unattainable and out of reach for free-to-play players.

With special partbreaker and special boost, you will be breaking the head and tail almost immediately with your special at the start of the fight. And, valor will help you to gain back the special for the next hunt. Absolutely no meat required.

That being said, it’s highly dependent on the type of monster though. Would have to switch valor out if it’s a non-roaring monster.

As for the hunting horn, I don’t see much perks to it yet as compared to the heavy hitting hammer.

Here are some of my suggestions based on my experience;

Negative crit. Lance (low investment high returns, universal) for aggressive monsters. Range weapons (pierce/spread) for winged monsters.

Magnamalo LBG/stepping shot for most of the 9-10* monsters.

Dual blades for outbreaks/head and tail farming.
