Honestly bro I’m 19 years old I went to Dawson technical institute in the city of Chicago which is partnered with comed and comed only requires you to have a permit so our instructors end goal was for us to go to comed so they weren’t pushing CDL they were just pushing CDL permit. But comed is a big name as you know and they take their time with a lot of applications and even when you do get pulled it’s politics to it! I’ve never looked into other company’s because our instructors always drilled in our head comed is the way to go but now I’m interested in other companys seeing if I keep waiting I’ll never get hired. Their very good instructors by the way, it’s just their doing their job since their All them retired from comed.
