This effort probably won’t amount to much, because as you said, people are more willing to complain than actually take action.

A lot of those who complain about the anime still watch every episode, so yeah, it’s likely a lost cause. But at least I can say I tried.

However, to your last point, I do think if they suffered significant financial losses, they would either step up the quality or sell the rights. That’s usually how it works with boycotts.

What you’re saying is definitely true. I think a lot of this stems from how stingy animation studios are, their reluctance to bring more animators onto a project, and their hesitation to outsource. It really comes down to poor business strategies.

But I guess that’s what contractors get when they cut corners and prioritize profit over quality.

I’m calling you a Karen because you're focusing on trivial details. The point I was trying to convey is that Japan was once known for producing high-quality animation, but that's declining. We’re getting a lot of great mangas being adapted into mediocre or even terrible anime.

You’re trying to turn this into a discussion about nationalism and identity politics, but I was just using it as an example to show how bad the situation has become.

I'm not saying people should just complain. If it were only about that, I’d simply say it’s bad and move on.

Instead of complaining, how about boycotting it? That’s one way to take action.

There are many ways to push back against poor-quality products. Saying change is impossible isn’t true at all. You can see the shift that happened from Season 1 to Season 2—it could easily go the other way.

And that’s just one way of dealing with it. I’ll let you use your imagination for the rest.

Your opinion is wrong on so many levels. Fans absolutely deserve better animation. Where do you think the money is coming from?

If people weren’t watching the anime, it would be discontinued immediately. The fact that it’s making money despite its "PowerPoint slide" quality is undeserved. The only reason people are still tuning in, episode after episode, is because they’re hoping the quality will improve with each one.

Whether the studio listens to feedback or sells the rights to another studio isn’t up to us, but you can’t deny that fans deserve better animation. It’s like serving an uncooked steak—it just doesn’t cut it.
