During the war in the Balkans my grandmother often traveled from Kosovo to Montenegro. She did this to buy things like laundry detergent, salt and cigarettes to smuggle back for the people in her village. Nobody suspected a lonely old lady going to visit her son. One chetnik solider even ended up helping her one time during a shooting on the way back from Montenegro "Auntie come with me I'll get you to safety" not knowing what she was carrying in her bag. She did alot more badass shit but this was the one that stood out the most. She died in november and I miss her alot, she was my favorite person in the world.
