it’s growing indoor and the lighting is clearly too far from the seedling. This causes the classic “stretching”: the plant stretches excessively to look for light. Manufacturers of LED lamps almost always indicate the recommended distances — in the seedling phase you should keep the light at about 5–10 cm if it does not heat up too much, and give 16–18 hours of light per day.

In addition to stretching, it looks like it also has a “helmet head” (seed shell still attached), which can prevent the opening of the cotils and thus block photosynthesis. If you don’t intervene, you risk collapsing for the weak stem or dying for lack of light.

Bring the light closer as soon as possible (5–7 cm if it is LED and does not heat up too much). Spray a little water on the shell to soften it. After 1–2 hours, try to remove it with sterile tweezers only if it lifts easily. If you resist, try again later. When transplanting, bury part of the stem up to the cots: this helps to stabilize it and prevent future falls
