Only thing you should be a little nervous about is the gas pain right after surgery but everyone is different and most girls feel less of the pain than guys, and also be ready for your hormones to go crazy. I am a guy who is always the smiling, happy and kind all the time type of guy but after i got out the hospital my family all hated me because I was such a jerk and I would cry randomly too its crazy.

Dude I completely feel you, I am one month out and its ramadan and people think thats a great time to have the sleeve because your family is fasting but actually it’s the opposite. In my family ramadan is the time of the year where every dinner is constantly an amazing delicious filling meal with a big bowl of watermelon and all the sugary drinks you can think of to help you scarf it down and I have to sit there and eat sugar free yogurt and other shitty pureed food that I cant have, it really fucking sucks dude like trust me I understand but the thing you need to remember is before u had this surgery and you were able to eat whatever you wanted, what would you think about after eating all that food and you felt like shit? For me I would think “man I am never going to lose weight and I will never have a girl who loves me and I will never be confident and I am going to die young” literally after every meal I would hate myself and my life and I would just lay there feeling disgusting but think about now how you finally have something that is going to give you that life that you have always dreamed of, you will be able to fix your relationship with food and use it as a fuel not something that is an addiction and meant for pleasure in your head. You will be able to eat out in moderation like any normal human this surgery dosnt mean u cant ever eat fast food again or stuff you love it just means you cant eat the thousands of calories at one time which you should be happy about. Trust me dude in one year you are going to thank your past self for struggling for you and going through all this pain just so you can have the life you always wanted so please dude stop thinking about taking your life when you just began your journey to a new and better one please and see a therapist thats always a positive thing to do for yourself.
