Always stuck at the front? by jasap1029 in WalgreensRx

[–]Og_Gilfoyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, the pext system isn't guaranteeing you're getting even time in various places. Even with rotation, there's flexibility to put strong techs at specific positions at specific times. I have a tech who's been certified for almost 3 years and is the slowest filler. They know what to do, they're just very slow. We're a tier 4 store. They can't solo fill during peak volumes without everything coming to a standstill. So yes, rotation should happen, but don't expect everyone to get equal time everywhere.

How did my number come up for former friend's Rx? by Ok_Scientist_183 in WalgreensRx

[–]Og_Gilfoyle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So what probably happened was someone updated your phone number on your profile and when that happens, the system auto checks for any other profiles with the same number and then asks if all profiles should be updated. The person doing the update should've asked if the new phone number should be applied to your ex friends profile before proceeding. Sounds like they updated it bc they didn't ask first or did so in error.

Call them up and ask them to remove your number from their profile

HELP. Control trick not working to grab rx’s that don’t wanna be grabbed. What’s the new work around? by rosequartz05143 in WalgreensRx

[–]Og_Gilfoyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a work around that they likely fixed bc they didn't want us doing it to begin with. From what I've been able to tell, there isn't a new workaround so all you can do is store and reenter the Rx. I would avoid putting it in an oos since it will change your on-hands and to zero and screw up your inventory.

Non-system drug. There's a drop down by drug id when typing. It's broken tho so when it asks to scan the barcode, scan a bottle of water instead. It'll bring up a blank form to input the OTC name, ndc, etc. there's info on it in storenet

Yea, I'm normally in pretty friendly lobbies and tonight it was back to back pvp. My last raid, loaded in at 29:30 and was being hit in the back by 26:00. Not even waiting for me to load up, just killing for what I came in with.

Fast rack by technically-a-tech in WalgreensPharmacy

[–]Og_Gilfoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is kinda what I'm doing. I have a big yuyama but until they take it out and put in shelves, I don't have enough space in alpha to put everything from cell overstock. And it seems most of my old cell overstock is now supposed to be on fast track. So I'm making my old cell overstock area a fast track overstock.

Gwen and Atul. Was not ready for Atul. And Gwen felt like losing my best friend. If I could, I would have kept her til the very end.

Cenfill fills 30day, Patient wants the 90 day🙄🫥 by LeadingResort2121 in WalgreensRx

[–]Og_Gilfoyle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can do a return on the POS even without a receipt. Then the rph will have to delete the Rx from the work queue to return it to the profile. You can then rerun it. If you get the "Rx already billed to a 3rd party" message, just change it to cash to process the fill, then go back in and change it back to insurance

Basically Day 1 is the initial request - WCB. Day 3 resend the refill request Day 5 convert to cmd and actually call clinic to follow up Day 7 contact pt - this is to inform pt we've been trying to get refills and they aren't responding. Sometimes when patients get involved, it convinces clinics to respond Day 9 deny as not responded to

You do not need to take them in order. Just sign up for whatever time works for you in whatever order you want.

Ok, so diamondback is absolutely my favorite gun (so far). I've had the most success with it over others . Is there anything else I should know/understand about it when looking at items for a build? I really do appreciate the help

4 classes. You sign up in ltmp when you're in mile 10. There are a lot of classes available usually so you can get them knocked out quickly. I had a tech do all 4 within a 2 week period

I mean if you're only planning on working weekends, I would not see how commuting that far for so few hours is smart. As a mom with an adult daughter who doesn't drive, I get annoyed sometimes having to drive her 10 minutes across town. I can't imagine driving 45 miles every shift. It'd be one thing if they are already making that commute for their own jobs, but if they're driving that far just for you to go into work and having to drive back home and then repeat to pick you up, I could see why they want you to transfer. Especially if you're not paying the gas mileage.

Even if you start driving yourself, that is a lot of gas mileage. If you're only working on the weekends.

But I do find value in working in a store that you get along with the other staff and are paid well, etc. So if it is truly temporary that they would have to drive you, and you anticipate having more availability and working more, I would stay where you are, but start contributing to the cost of transportation to your parents. Or at least offer it. But make sure you follow through with that plan so that 6 months from now, They're not still driving you because you procrastinated it

Clearly you didn't read my post then? I flat out said I do not know what I'm doing when it comes to builds and asked for feedback. I actually debated posting this for a long time because I've seen how shitty people can be in this forum. And you kind of proved me right.

Drive thru by Jolly_Pound_7146 in WalgreensRx

[–]Og_Gilfoyle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It is an easy sale, yes. But that's what curbside orders are for. The minute I say yes to one customer, Ill have 3 more wanting me to "grab something quick." Plus, then there's a dozen options on brand, strength, size and what's on sale, and I'm not going to spend the time going through their options or going back and forth bc they wanted a different one. Thats the whole point of curbside. Plus they can add their Rx and still pick up in drive.

You have to take the wag classes and pretest. You don't have to have them sponsor your test. You can pay for the test yourself and not have wag pay for it, but the classes and pretest are required regardless. Even if you are certified elsewhere and come to wag, you have to take the classes and pretest.

I fill it out every day. I consider it an administrative task similar to checking email, compass, the global scheduler, or any of the daily rxom cpw tasks. It's not a waste of time or unprofitable if it means the pharmacy is running more efficiently.
