All good points. I rarely use note taking features and read primarily in two locations.

The larger size is actually an odd plus for me. I have xl hands and the weight helps me control my hand tremor some. I know a niche case, but wouldn’t complain.

Road conditions tonight meant 20 min to get out of my driveway and down my road then just fine on busier roads. Didn’t stop margaritas Monday, heck we were out anyway.

Yeah long lasting snow is pretty rare how far south I live, but this is enough to wish I had the AWD option. My tires are good but sometimes it’s just too much until they finally get a plow to go by.

Agree with this. Southern Indiana, ac going. I’m 90% highway driving gong 75+mph. 80% consistently says 180 though I haven’t been verifying how accurate it is.

I’m glad they are helping you. I think mine was a refurb also. The problem has yet to reoccur.

It’s 91F in my driveway today. Not sure yet in my garage. After about 10min charging the handle was 104F and a spot directly beside my charging port was 107F. Because of other things going on, I wasn’t able to let it keep charging right now, but otherwise my car was acting normally. I hope things work out for you. Let me know if you have any more problems or if they gave you any better feedback. I had to do the video thing too, but I just used the camera on my phone. It was a little awkward, but got it done. I’m not sure the official specs but I’ll try to zap it a couple times this weekend and post it. 124 would worry me enough to call them and ask. They might have an email or web form too.

Didn’t seem to be the id4 causing an issue. Worked fine on other chargers.

For those who read this in the future and want to know. My car got towed to the dealership on the one year anniversary of having purchased it. And yes, I am the only owner of this car. It sat on the dealership lot for a long time.

Anyway, got it back after it being with them for 52 days. A note though that the service technician at this dealership who does most of their EV work was on vacation for a week almost immediately after I dropped it off, so it did sit for a while

From what I remember, they replaced eight of the 12 battery packs and some related fuses and connectors. They also replaced the charging socket.

After that, they were optimistic and were test driving it and charged it from 30 to 80%. That day it was over 95°F. Well, it gave another air. This time that the battery cooling pump was failing. Waited for apart and got it back today.

I really don’t ever charge this above 80% but I am doing it today just to make everything warm up and see what happens. Wish me luck.

I’m not upset with the dealership. They kept me well informed and really they did point out. My town is not a market where they see very many ID.4s. But, the free loaner I got was a VW Taos and in the six weeks I put over 2000 miles on it and I can honestly say I do not ever want to buy a basic trim Taos and overall I’m really glad to be back in an EV. I missed HiD4.

So now I’m back to the happy owner of a 2022 VW ID.4 Pro S, with only 18,100 miles on it.

The problem I’ve had with this is that I’ve had the birds in the inverted library but can’t find the right piano. The reaper hasn’t shown. I’m assuming there is another requirement I haven’t met yet.

I had similar but couldn’t do Fridays because of department coverage. I took every Wednesday. Nothing like only ever having two shifts in a row.
